It was the Gil and Ozuna show in Oriente.

CIBAO 7, ORIENTE 2 IN ORIENTE

Cibao:  Ronny Gil (St. Louis) was 3-for-4 with two walks and a home run, scoring twice.  Marcell Ozuna (Miami) was 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs.  Zach Kroenke pitched five innings, giving up one run on three hits and no walks with three strikeouts.

Oriente:  Junior Lake (Cubs) was 2-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.

The game:  Gil led off the game with a home run to put Cibao up 1-0.  Gil singled and scored on an Ozuna double in the third to make it 2-0.  Omir Santos hit a two-run double in the fourth to make it 4-0.  Oriente got on the board in the bottom of the fourth, but Ozuna's two-run single in the sixth made it 6-1 and put the game out of reach.
