I was very excited last night to tell HPR that I'll be bringing him to his first Concert in April.
Colin Stetson is playing at an all-ages venue.

Spotify Radio is sure that I should like Liturgy. Eventually any station I create starts playing that band. I remain unconvinced.
Have you heard Deathprod, DG? Not sure how you feel about repetition in your dark ambient, but this cat uses it to great effect.

I'm a big fan of repetition. A big fan.
If I ever get back to my office I'll give this a listen.

That is the coolest set of song titles I have seen in a long long time. Bolt Thrower -- brilliant.
I think I earn that every week the way LeBron earns MVPs. Also, Bolt Thrower took their name from Warhammer, which maybe makes the list less cool or more cool depending on your opinion of games like that.
Nah, your stuff is far more like his teammate.

The new St Vincent is streaming. Just had a chance to get through it once, not sure what I think other than this will probably lead to a much larger audience for her. I think I'm more excited for Sharon Van Etten's May release.
My studio mate turned me on to this slow motion jazz out of Germany. Very evocative stuff.

I heard a couple snippets of St. Vincent, and I didn't really hear much new ground being broken. I'll have to check out the full stream though.
For some reason, seeing that AC/DC song in your random 10 amuses me.

Oasis fans, be sure to check out the commentary from Noel on their UK Singles DVD. He is not really a fan of the video format. (BEWARE: plenty o' cursing.)

Also, if any of you listened to Ricky Gervais' old podcasts, you'll note the amazing vocal resemblance of the elder Gallagher to Karl Pilkington.
Unless there are subtitles, I don't think you need a warning on the language.
Maybe, if you speak Spanish...
No mistaking his fookin' F bombs.

I know most of the words to most of the Jimmy Buffett songs written until about 2000. My parents used to play him almost exclusively on car rides. And our nearest relatives are 12 hours away.
I am not a huge Buffett fan, but I like that song. And 'Cheeseburger in Paradise'. And probably 'Come Monday' on a good day.
