Aww, man, I just realized that baseball's over for the year. Like, completely over over.

Well, there's always fall/winter baseball. There are also a few baseball-related notes for today:
Pat Neshek has been traded to Philadelphia for a player to be named later or cash.
Torey Lovullo is the new Arizona manager.
John Orsino, 1960s catcher for San Francisco, Baltimore, and Washington, passed away at the age of 78.
Chelsea is running circles around Everton. Everton looks like they're playing in cement.
I abandoned it after the third goal. I'm hoping this NASL semifinal match proves more entertaining.
Apparently, the Wolves aren't bad with leads. They're just bad in the second half, especially on the road.
Weekend notes:
-The first grade lexicon is fascinating. I learned this week that to “do an Odell” is to catch a football one-handed. (The jalapeño didn’t know where the term originated, but after a minute of research, I was able to fill him in.)
-Remember to “fall back” tonight.
-If you attend church, know that All Saints Day will be observed tomorrow. If this service leaves you an absolute wreck, plan accordingly.
