Rochester picked up the lone win, wasting good pitching by Deitrich Enns but taking advantage of good pitching by D. J. Baxendale. The Lookouts gave up seven runs in each of two games in getting swept. Travis Blankenhorn and Alex Kirilloff go deep in losses.
GWINNETT 1 , ROCHESTER 0 IN ROCHESTER (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)
In the fourth, Ronald Acuna walked, stole second and third, and scored on a ground out for the game's only run. The Red Wings again wasted some fine pitching, this time by Dietrich Enns. Rochester had just three hits, all singles.
Nick Buss was 1-for-2 with a walk and is batting .333. Gregorio Petit was 0-for-3 and is batting .326. Enns pitched a complete game, giving up one run on two hits and four walks and striking out four.
ROCHESTER 2, GWINNETT 1 IN GWINNETT (GAME 2--7 INNINGS)*
Four walks gave the Red Wings a first-inning run and Leonardo Reginatto singled home a run in the second. The Stripers scored their lone run in the fifth.
Reginatto was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Jermaine Curtis was 1-for-1 with a double and a walk. Nick Buss was 0-for-2 with two walks and is batting .319. Willians Astudillo drew his first walk of the season in twenty-six at-bats. He has also struck out just once. D. J. Baxendale pitched four shutout innings, giving up two hits and no walks and striking out two. His ERA remains at zero through twelve innings. Casey Crosby made his first appearance of the season and his first in organized ball since 2014. He pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and striking out one, to get the save.

JACKSON 7, CHATTANOOGA 0 IN JACKSON (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)
Jamie Westbrook hit a two-run homer in a three-run first and the Generals cruised to victory. The Lookouts had just two hits.
LaMonte Wade was 1-for-2 with a walk and is batting .300. Nick Gordon was 1-for-3 with a double and is batting .350. Tanner English was 0-for-2 and is batting .095 (4-for-42). Zack Littell pitched 4.1 innings, giving up six runs on seven hits and a walk and striking out four.
JACKSON 7, CHATTANOOGA 6 IN JACKSON (GAME 2--7 INNINGS)
The Lookouts put up a better fight in this one, but the result was the same. Chattanooga had leads of 5-4 and 6-5, but Marty Herum hit a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh to win it for the Generals.
Nick Gordon was 3-for-4 and is batting .375. LaMonte Wade was 2-for-4 with a home run (his second) and is batting .315. Zander Weil was 1-for-3 and is batting .370. Ryan Eades struck out seven in four innings, allowing three unearned runs on four hits and a walk. His ERA is 2.51. Oddly, there were no errors--the unearned runs were due to a strikeout/passed ball.
CLEARWATER 5, FORT MYERS 3 IN CLEARWATER
The Threshers scored four in the sixth to go from down 2-0 to up 4-2. They had three doubles in the inning.
Lewin Diaz was 2-for-4 with a triple. Travis Blankenhorn hit a two-run homer, his second. Joe Cronin was 1-for-4 with a double and is batting .423. Jimmy Kerrigan was 1-for-4 with a double and is batting .387. Taylor Grzelakowski was 0-for-4 and is batting .333. Mark Contreras was 1-for-3 and is batting .333. Sean Poppen struck out five in 4.2 scoreless innings, giving up five hits and a walk. His ERA is 2.63.
BURLINGTON 13, CEDAR RAPIDS 5 IN CEDAR RAPIDS
It was 5-5 through four, but the Bees scored two in the fifth, sixth, eighth, and ninth.
Akil Baddoo was 4-for-5 and scored twice. Alex Kirilloff was 3-for-5 with a three-run homer, his third. Shane Carrier was 2-for-4. Royce Lewis was 1-for-5 and is batting .306. Ben Rodriguez was 1-for-4 with a double and is batting .321. Bryan Sammons struck out five in 4.1 innings, but allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits and no walks.
For Burlington, Torii Hunter, Jr. was 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. He is batting .176. Jo Adell was 1-for-3 and is batting .283.
