Who knows what's going on with the Wolves right now, but there's still at least one font of wonderfulness on the roster.

With the publication of the DSL Twins team leaders this morning, we conclude "Minor Details" for the season.
I haven't decided yet what I'll do during the off-season. I am planning to do the "Rewind' feature again. I don't know how much reporting I'll do on the winter leagues. I'd like to do daily reports as I have in the past, simply because I enjoy doing it--I suspect I enjoy writing them more than anyone enjoys reading them. But they do take a lot of time, and the longer I'm in my present location the more involved in things I get and the less time I have. I may content myself with a weekly summary of how Twins players are doing. Or, I may do something else. We'll just see how things go, I guess.
Ruh roh. The Padre is playing hard to get. Quick, offer him a max contract!
But seriously. Your fans are quiet, but we are here.
*nods*
I don't often have anything to add, but I read them almost every morning.
I had the good fortune to finally meet Can of Corn & freealonzo in person on Monday evening. Our conversation was every bit as fun & easy as if we’d been meeting for beers for years — because we effectively have been doing that. For someone who lives outside the Metro, this was an all-too-rare but welcome reminder of how excellent folks here are, and how much I wish I could see you folks with more regularity.
I got to meet Co'C many years ago -- it's good to see that fame hasn't messed him up.
Strasburg is doing this on purpose.
Maroon 5 will be the Super Bowl halftime show performers. I guess Matchbox 20 had a prior engagement.
As did Haircut 100
As if Matchbox 20 has anything going on now that State Fair season is over.
Timberwolves gonna Timberwolve.
Quite honestly, this is more fun than the miserable team they were last season, despite making the playoffs.
This could save the Wolves from themselves. Normally, they'd give the oft-injured 29 year old a max contract and be stuck for years.
surprisingly un-clutch oft-injured 29 year old.
All about the $.
The Sixers also have max space next summer and have way more talent than those 3 teams. Apparently, Jimmy wants to be The Man.
From Jon Krawczynski:
It is important to note that Jon is almost certainly being fed a load of baloney by Butler's agent.
As soon as I saw Andrew Wiggins was trending on Twitter, I knew it couldn't be good.
okay, this was actually in response to steven jackson (!?), but still, this team....

So...what are some of the counting goals left for the Twins for the rest of the season? I know we'd like to see at least a .500 record, difficult as that would be. Also, Joe has an On Base Twins record in the works. What else is there you're looking for?
Yeah, winning their final 10 games (for a 14-game winning streak) would definitely be difficult. Wins don't mean much for pitchers really, but it would still be nice to get Berrios a winning record and Gibson to 10 wins. They both have pitched better than their records. If Rosario is able to play, it would be nice to get him to 80 RBIs. Otherwise, the Twins wouldn't have anyone with 80 RBIs. Seems like that would be a pretty rare thing these days.
Rosario was sent back to Minneapolis for an MRI so definitely won't play in Oakland and it doesn't sound good for the rest of the season. Garver also sent to Minneapolis mainly to avoid long plane flights to and from Oakland while suffering from a concussion. If he does play in the final homestand, it probably won't be as catcher, so it will be Astudillo and Giminez to finish the season.
I’d like to see Mauer break a 100 OPS+. Sanó finishing below a .300 OBP and .400 SLG is unacceptable. I’d like to see Kepler break 20 HR & 100 OPS+ for the first time in his career, but honestly, his season’s still a disappointment.
On the fun side, I’d love to see Astudillo steal a base & play all nine positions in a game.
I also thought about Joe's OPS+ after I posted, too
I'd also like to see Busenitz play for one more team.
Molitor said that Brian Dozier was playing through injuries (unspecified) for much of his time with the Twins this season. If so, it worked out about as well as it usually does.
He must still be hurt because he's been benched a lot recently and has been batting 8th at times.
Or he may have been benched and batting eighth because he's hit .185 since going to the Dodgers. I'm not saying he isn't hurt--I have no idea. I'm just saying that if he is, it probably would've been better both for him and his teams for him to sit out until he was healthy.
