CLINTON 6, CEDAR RAPIDS 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Three consecutive two-out RBI singles gave the LumberKings a 3-0 lead in the first inning.  The Kernels never got closer than two.  Wander Javier was 3-for-3 with two doubles.  Trevor Casanova was 2-for-4 with a double.  Denny Bentley pitched three shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out two.  Nate Hadley pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit.  Austin Schulfer pitched two perfect innings.

Cedar Rapids loses the series 2-1.  This concludes their season.
