Back on the pistachio beat... Anyway, I opened up a pistachio shell that contained... two empty pistachio shells! How does that happen!?

Man, heck of a storm out this way. Presents opened by flashlight (windows/doors had blankets taped to them to preserve heat) . Any gift that was clothing was put on right away for additional warmth. Had 5 sweaters on my the end. The boy had 3 pajama pants/sweatpants on. Nearly 48 hours of up to 70mph wind gusts while some areas got 4 ft of snow.
Never seen another storm like it. Everything back to normal on my home front but we were some of the fortunate ones. Many others not nearly as lucky. Crazy stuff
I was thinking about you guys. We might reminisce about record cold back in the day, but we'd never had snowfall amounts even close to what you've had to endure. Good luck with the cleanup.
Wow. Hang in there.
at least the bills won! stay safe, hitman.
Was wondering about you and yours. Holy cow, man! Glad you survived.
Video or pictures don't capture that wind , painter. Going outside at 230 in the morning to bring in wood covered in snow hoping in would burn was not fun.
Thanks for the thoughts from all. Know I don't make it around much but nice to know I haven't been forgotten.
I don't get to watch much hoops anymore. Boy is a Pee-wee goalie and that takes up a lot of time!! Whats the deal with the Wolves? Rudy and KAT not a fit? Ant not taking over since he still figuring out how to how to work with Rudy? Haven't watched a single game but I'd of expected them to be better.
Damn, glad to hear you're all ok.
I think early on the Wolves problems were just not gelling from limited pre-season time together. But then they turned into the Twins pitching staff and everyone got injured, so that's not helping. Also, Dlo sucks. Holy crap is he bad.
That's too bad. Always liked Rudy as a player (COVID microphone stuff aside) . Thought they were building something cool.
Still a lot of time do to that but I worry things can turn sour quickly.
The moral of the story is that nothing ever comes up T-Wolves and they should just trade KAT so he can go win with a real NBA organization.
I mean, let's be clear... on top of the bad luck, the Wolves have to be the worst-run professional sports franchise in North America, right?
Oh yeah, no question about it. The Vikings have a better chance of winning the NBA title than the Wolves do, regardless of who owns the team.
We can't have nice things.
THE VIKINGS ARE GOING TO WIN THE SUPERBOWL!
Damn, brother. I was thinking about y’all. I missed the really epic snow falls in Buffalo by a couple years on either side of my residence there, but I can certainly tell this was next level! Glad to hear y’all made it through!
My one winter there wasn't that bad either. Glad to hear you made it through, FTLT
Oof. Puts my travel fials to shame. Best wishes, Buffalo.
Uffda. That kind of experience recalibrates the use of superlatives for a lifetime. Glad you & yours made it through.
I watched some coverage of the storm today and holy cow. They're saying 76 people died from it across seven states. That's one hell of a killing spree. Glad you all stayed safe if not warm.

Left-hander Rich Hill and the Pittsburgh Pirates are in agreement on a one-year, $8 million contract, pending physical, sources tell ESPN. Hill, who turns 43 in March, is entering his 19th big league season after making 26 starts and throwing 124.1 innings for Boston this year.
The 2015 "Man from U.N.C.L.E." was once a guilty pleasure of mine, but over the years it's tarnished horribly. I'm waiting for a Alicia Vikander scandle to eventually break.

I survived Whamageddon again this year, but FYI, the song continues to raise nearly £500K for charity each year.
