Minor Details: Games of April 23

SAINTS 8, RAILRIDERS 5 IN ST. PAUL

St. Paul led 8-1 after eight.

Elliot Soto was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Alex Kirilloff was 2-for-4 with two home runs, a walk, and five RBIs.
Hernan Perez was 2-for-4.

With Bailey Ober called up to the majors, Randy Dobnak made the start.  He pitched four innings, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out three.
Josh Winder struck out three in three innings, giving up one run on two hits.
Jorge Alcala pitched a scoreless inning, walking one and striking out one.

DRILLERS 4, WIND SURGE 3 IN TULSA

Wichita scored three in the first, but that was it.  Jose Ramos' RBI single brought home the go-ahead run in the sixth.

DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. was 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, his second.

Carlos Luna pitched 4.2 innings, giving up two runs on two hits and a walk and striking out three.
Michael Boyle struck out three in 1.1 scoreless innings, walking one.
Alex Scherff struck out two in two-thirds of an inning, walking one.

KERNELS 11, SKY CARP 1 IN BELOIT

Cedar Rapids scored four in the second to take a 5-0 lead.

Noah Miller was 4-for-5 with a double, three runs, and three RBIs.
Noah Cardenas was 3-for-5 with two doubles, a walk, two runs and two RBIs.

Pierson Ohl struck out five in five innings, giving up one run on four hits.
Mike Paredes pitched a scoreless inning, walking one.
Regi Grace struck out two in a perfect inning.
Niklas Rimmel pitched a scoreless innings, walking two and striking out one.
Miguel Rodriguez pitched a perfect inning, striking out one.

HAMMERHEADS 10, MIGHTY MUSSELS 9 IN FORT MYERS (11 INNINGS)

Jupiter scored three in the top of the eleventh.  Fort Myers got two back and had men on first and second with one out, but a line drive double play ended the game.

Michael Helman was 4-for-5 with a triple, a double, a walk, three runs, and two RBIs.
Dylan Neuse was 2-for-5.
Ricardo Olivar hit a home run.

Starter Tomas Cleto pitched three innings, giving up one run on five hits and a walk and striking out three.
Johnathan Lavallee pitched two-thirds of an inning, giving up no runs on a hit and a walk.

    1. He's kind of a throwback--he'll pitch back-to-back days, sometimes two or more games on the same day!
