The neighbors thankfully got rid of the obnoxious three light lamppost in their backyard that blasted our backyard with many unwanted watts. However, they've now selected even brighter lights for their front door. Like, a few of them. My eyes hurt thinking about it. Still, I'll take the trade off.

We actually got some rain last night. Fortunately, not very much, and not much wind.
The new windows can't get here soon enough.
Anyone else get a little thrill in seeing Minnesota players in the ALDS montage ads on TV?*
* and, incidentally, not seeing Judge, Devers, et al
Ads? On TV?
If your wife is a college football junkie, you're going to see a few ads by osmosis just walking through the room
Every streaming service has or will soon have ads. Ability to avoid ads was a brief break.
And, frankly, the commercial breaks during sporting events that are filled with terrible, repetitive music are awful. I'd rather hear adverts.
Nah, I’ll take the music. Unless their systems get more sophisticated, if I have to watch the same 9 commercials for an entire season of baseball, I want all of those products and companies to burn to the ground. Seems like that achieves the opposite effect of what they’re going for.
Twins can't determine their first round opponent today.
If Tampa and Seattle win today, the Twins will still have four possible first round opponents going into the last day of the season.
If Toronto beats Tampa and Houston wins, the Twins won't face Seattle in the first round.
If Toronto beats Tampa and Houston loses, the Twins won't face Toronto or Texas in the first round.
If Toronto and Seattle both lose, the Twins won't face Texas or Seattle in the first round.
Still waiting for that Houston elimination scenario.
Twins can't determine their first round opponent today. UPDATED with Toronto loss.
If Seattle wins today, the Twins will still have four possible first round opponents going into the last day of the season.
If Seattle loses, the Twins won't face Texas or Seattle in the first round.
Correction. Twins won't play Texas in the first round. It's still possible to play Seattle.
Well that was a clinchful day.
If Houston loses tomorrow the Twins play Houston.
If Houston wins the Twins play Toronto. UNLESS! Texas and Toronto both win as well. Then the Twins play Houston.
