I finished my yakamein leftovers yesterday and now realize maybe I should’ve saved it for Wednesday.
I made that a few weeks ago for the first time. I was surprised how good it was.
Oh, damn. Sounds like birria ramen!
I mean, sure?!? It’s a jumble of flavortown and texture best consumed post party(ing too much).
I’ll be at the Madonna concert in the Xcel tonight. The owner of the company I work for knew she’s my (somewhat) guilty pleasure and gave me a $350 ticket. Here’s hoping she’s closer to taking the stage 45 minutes late than the occasional two hours, twenty minutes late.
Have fun!
Her fans are reaching the age where that's at least two or three trips to the bathroom.
I'll be there, too. Cannot wait!
During the first half of next season, Twins are supposed to be unveiling their City Connect jerseys. Personally, I don't see them topping the Twin Cities jerseys from last season -- let's just call it good, huh guys?
Big Swoosh must be placated. Hopefully they are closer to the Angels’ or or Rockies’ CCs threads and not the Giants’ or Red Sox’ versions.
Big Swoosh is farming it out, actually.
This is what the back of the white jerseys look like with the new template. Players are pretty unhappy. Miles Mikolas says they also don’t fit right; pants are no longer as customized, and the fabric is a very different consistency.
My twin cities jersey is my new favorite. I think the only one that could top it would be a Thome era cream.
I'm excited for the new city connect jersey. Who knows what they'll come up with, but I'm an easy mark.
Wait, the Twin Cities kits are not permanent?
Nobody said that!
We're still on kind of a roller coaster with Mom A. Sometimes things start to look better, other times they look worse. We just have to take it day to day. I'm blessed to be in a work situation that allows me to spend a lot of time with her, and to have understanding congregations that allow me to do so. Your prayers continue to be appreciated.
❤️
Continued best wishes.
dadS saw his cardiologist yesterday. He's had AFIB for almost 30 years. Doc is recommending surgery to close off the ascending aorta, since that can be the source of blood clots. At 89, not exactly risk free. But probably worth it to get him off blood thinners.
Unfortunately, it won't solve the AFIB.
I think there are some TMBG fans here. Great chance to see them in MSP with three different upcoming shows.
Just Announced: THREE NIGHTS WITH THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS @tmbg - THE BIG SHOW TOUR. Tix on sale this Fri, Feb 16 at 11am.
Just got a heart yesterday from Linnell for a comment on one of their FB posts.
Oooh.
I've reached the point where I'm looking for the all ages because I'd love to bring my kids. Sunday show is, in fact, all ages. Will have to discuss with the family. Thanks!
Mike Zimmer to be DefCoo for the Cowboys. I'm sure that will turn out great.
He's a built-in scapegoat for their next big playoff loss. Perfect hire.
lol. That would be perfect.
It does appear that my shingles is going to transition into post-herpedic neuralgia. 6 weeks in and the pain is still at it's peak. However, a couple weeks ago I was finally prescribed for some adequate meds to dampen the pain. I have 3 vacation in the works. Next week I leave for Phoenix for a 11 day trip. April, we are going to Germany/Luxembourg for 10 days. My wife will get her dual citizenship in Luxembourg during the trip. I was surprised by one of my vendors this week who gave me 2 tickets for an all-inclusive trip to Playa del Carmen in March. I kind of feel guilty taking 3 trips n 3 months, but then I remembered we went many years without trips earlier in our marriage due to no funds whatsover. So, I guess I am saying there is some good and some bad in my life right now.
Yeesh on the Shingles. Good luck on getting that to settle down.
Definitely don't feel guilty about the trips.
Dude, enjoy your (guilt free) trips! I could have recommended a great B&B in Tempe, btw...
Although not known for it, we found some really cool (and ancient) hiking trails in Lux (e.g. Müllerthau, Berdorf). And good thin pizza.
Second time around on making Scottish pies tonite - sans mace - do they even sell that nowadays? they didn’t have lard, so trying a mixto of shortening+butter. I’m going to make a lingonberry/pepper chutney in lieu of gravy. I love the spring-form cake-pan - great for crispy edges.
Enjoy your Tuesday.

Beat me to the link. They are from Fanatics.
