I obviously get how people can use the keyboard side, but I have no idea how accordionists know which buttons to push on the other side.

I'm guessing they work so hard on it that they barely sleep at night.
A few years back I bid on a used accordion at a silent auction. I was the only bidder, so I won.
I've taught myself a couple Christmas songs, but using almost exclusively the piano keys - I can manage maybe 2 of the other buttons, at most, and I only have like a dozen of them on my basic model.
So basically, yes, even as someone who has played the accordion, I'm with you on not understanding that ability.
Off-season blackout policy in effect, however.
We know at least one former POTUS wasn’t a secret accordionist.
What would you do?

I don't really know what the ceiling on something like this would be.
there's a Topps 1/1 Skenes auto bidded up to $3100 on Ebay currently; this one'll go for a lot more just because of the publicity
The Pirates were willing to offer a lot of non-monetary compensation for it. I don't expect it to fetch that "retail" value but it should get close.
That's all!? For them to turn it down I was expecting the going rate to be way more than that. You could make $3100 just selling those tickets a few times (it is the Pirates, but still). That can't be right.
Dude, there's still 6 days left on the auction!
I've seen possibilities of well over $1m. Not sure if it'd be on the electronic bay in that case.
