Ah, back to the good old 7am meetings. That'll seem like cake when I do my 11pm-11am shift on Black Friday.

November 10, 2011: “Freezing”
It's all the way down to 65-70 degrees here. I think I'm actually going to miss the lack of winter, and in Yakima I barely got one as it was.
November 9, 2011: America Goes Vegan
Tomorrow, meat leaves for Ireland. Today is your last chance at the Airing of Grievances!
November 8, 2011: No BS
Which is to say, some BS, apparently, but not as much as in recent years.
November 7, 2011: Destinos
As I write this at 9pm, I have to sign off and turn on a Spanish-teaching telenovela for my wife. It's an exciting life we lead.
November 6, 2011: Surviving
My much younger brother turns 22 today. Four years ago I don't think I would have bet on him living this long with the idiotic things he was doing. That whole teenage thing is no good.
November 5, 2011: Interaction
My brother-in-law's dog is over for a couple of days. Watching Sour Cream interact with this giant half-black lab, half-pit bull is some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen. (The dog is comically gentle, by the way, which I already knew)
November 4, 2011: Deadlines
Today was one of many deadlines for things related to my gig running a Spookymilk Survivor-type game for high schools. I had a "Spooky Milk" logo made as part of the project. It's pretty thrilling.
November 3, 2011: Anniversary
My Dad's been married for 23 years today. I don't celebrate that in and of itself necessarily, but it's the 23-year anniversary of me gaining a stepsister that became a great friend, and who survived two brain surgeries this last year shortly after becoming a first-time mother. Cheers, Rallista.
November 2, 2011: Pay Me
I'm locked in some pretty tense negotiations right now, and I'm so tense and angry all the time I'll probably be scarce for a couple of days. As meat and E can perhaps attest, a lot of people believe they deserve their art for free (or close to it), and they get pissy when you draw a line in the sand. This is where negotiations stand right now.
