Pete did three hours of wrestling after school immediately followed by three hours at the dojo. Man, I miss that kind of stamina.

I don’t know if Minnesota has emissions testing yet, but I’ve got to say, the employees there are some of the most exacting people I’ve come across. I don’t know if I’ve ever been called “Sir” in such a hostile manner.

I was worried the Vikings brass might consider extending Darnold. I don't think I need to worry about that now.

Rick starts tennis lessons today. I'm hoping it's the first step towards scholarships then worldwide acclaim. Or, I hope he has fun at least.

I was at a friend from work's place last night. Close to my age, but no family, so that means all his funds go to his fancy minerals collection. It's very impressive, honestly. If I had the funds, that's a hobby I could get into.

I'm a bit of a stationary nerd, though not to the extent that some people take it. I really dislike those cheap ballpoints. Do you prefer the finer things in life, or is any piece of crap good enough for you?

I refuse to use autofill. The software my company has chosen is honestly pretty good at finishing some of my sentences before I get there, but I still type it out to the bitter end. Forever!

As per usual lately, we were in and out of the Cities during our recent holiday visit. I did carve out a few moments though to have one last drink at the Red Dragon. Amusingly, the guy behind the bar was there for my 21st birthday. Shook his hand and said thanks for the memories (which may be fuzzy depending on how much Wondrous Punch you've had). Gonna miss that place.

We've had similar discussions lately about pets, but our old cat will be 18½ in the very near future. He's arthritic as hell (which is tough since we have a split level) and hasn't been eating much lately. Still, I haven't really entertained any "final" options. I hope I know, for his sake, when the time is right.
