A group of people from work went to volunteer at a dog shelter yesterday. I was warned beforehand it wasn't going to be anything pleasant; a lot of cage cleaning and the like. Thankfully it turned out to be mostly dog walking and puppy washing.

I was taking the boy to the dentist for his regular check up and they told me, hey, you know what, we had a spot open up at the same time. Do you want to take it since you're here? Yay! Surprise dental exam!

Man, I should start getting ready to go on this trip.

The good guys won! Uh, I think. I'll just remember that those uniforms were trash.

Middle of July already!?

For various reasons, I don't need this week to go forward just at the moment.

So, I am not made for humidity. Earlier this year I started assisting a volunteer program that works outside. I will be the first to volunteer for January shifts, but as the college kids are out of town, they need me for all these humid days too.

I saw a certain new Wolves draftee had a pretty nice game.

I've been trying to find a room near a big festival while I'm in Japan. I found one at a decent place, but I noticed if switched the website over to its English version, that room was not available anymore, but when you switch it back to Japanese it suddenly was available again. Hmm...

The newly minted six year old is definitely too smart for his own good. He got a hold of Jane's phone and ordered himself a Beyblade battle stadium...
