It would be easier to take 110 degree temps if I didn't know I was at least 60 days away from the end of them.

As if it wasn't bad enough (given recent events) that Sour Cream has a pool party to go to today, it also denies the Milkmaid the ability to enjoy her birthday at home. I'm at work all day and the pool party is from shortly before I get home to hours later, so it's a pretty lame birthday for the wife. Well, them's the breaks when you have kids who have friends.

Predictions of 108°F today in St. Louis. Yuck.

Someone needs to energize me enough to get me writing my next script. I'm on the verge of doing it. If any of you are in the area and can hang out and slap me around a little to get me to start, you can stay in my house for free.

My three-day "weekend" starts with the knowledge that the Twins have just beaten the White Sox in Youkilis's debut. That's hard to beat.
