Rochester 2, Louisville 0 in Louisville (10 innings).  Doubles by Denard Span and Dustin Martin led to two runs in the tenth to break a scoreless tie.  Span was 2-for-5 in the game.  Aaron Bates singled and doubled, raising his average to .324.  Chase Lambin had two hits.  Andrew Baldwin lasted 5.1 innings, giving up four hits and two walks.  Jake Stevens worked two shutout innings, walking two, and Kyle Waldrop threw 2.2 perfect innings to get the win.

New Britain 7, New Hampshire 6 in New Britain (Game 1--11 innings--Scheduled 7 innings).  The Rock Cats scored two in the seventh to tie it, then Chris Parmelee singled home Deibinson Romero with the winning run in the eleventh.  Joe Benson had two singles, a double, and a homer, driving in three.  Chris Herrmann singled and homered.  Romero singled and doubled.  Parmelee, Brian Dozier, and Nate Hanson each had two hits.  Starter Andrew Albers lasted went only 4.1 innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out five.  Deolis Guerra struck out three in three shutout innings, giving up two hits.  Tyler Robertson fanned two in a perfect eleventh to get the win.

New Hampshire 17, New Britain 3 in New Britain (Game 2--Scheduled 7 innings).  The Fisher Cats only scored in three innings, but they had four in the second, seven in the third, and six in the sixth.  Brian Dozier had three hits, raising his average to .318.  Joe Benson had two hits.  Mike Hollimon hit a home run.  Bobby Lanigan was hammered for eleven runs (six earned) on fourteen hits in 2.2 innings.  He did not walk anyone, although maybe he should have.  Spencer Steedley worked 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit.

Tampa 6, Ft. Myers 1 in Ft. Myers.  The Yankees scored five in the first and it was all they needed.  James Beresford had two hits.  Starter Miguel Munoz yielded five runs on five hits and a walk in just one-third of an inning.  Edgar Ibarra worked 4.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and two walks, and Alex Wimmers gave up a run on four hits and no walks in four innings.

Beloit 21, Burlington 8 in Burlington.  The Snappers led 11-4 after four, then scored eight in the fifth.  Jairo Perez had a single, a double, and two home runs, driving in eight, scoring three, and raising his average back to .366.  Michael Gonzales had two singles and two doubles, scoring five times.  Reggie Williams doubled and homered, driving in three.  Wang-wei Lin singled and homered, scoring three times.  Daniel Santana and Andy Leer each had two hits, with Santana scoring three times.  Ryan O'Rourke got the win despite allowing four runs on six hits and four walks in five innings; he also struck out five.  Blayne Weller struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk.

GCL Rays 5, Twins 2 at Twins (12 innings).  Candido Pimentel and Dereck Rodriguez each had two hits.  Starter Hein Robb worked four innings, giving up an unearned run on five hits.  Markus Solbach and Luis Nunez each pitched two shutout innings, each giving up one hit.  Marcus Limon took the loss, giving up the three twelfth inning runs in his second inning of pitching.

DSL Orioles 6, Twins 0.  It was scoreless for six, but the Orioles scored one in the seventh, four in the eighth, and one in the ninth.  Jose Ramirez had two hits.  Sterling Bonilla pitched four shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk.  Randy Rosario took a tough loss, giving up an unearned run on three hits in three innings.  The Twins made five errors.

New Hampshire 5, New Britian 4 in New Britain.  The Rock Cats trailed 5-1 after five and scored three in the sixth to make it close, but could not catch up.  Deibinson Romero had two doubles.  Joe Benson had two hits.  Deinys Suarez allowed all five runs on seven hits and four walks in seven innings, striking out six.  Brett Jacobson threw two shutout innings, giving up two hits.

Tampa 2, Ft. Myers 1 in Ft. Myers (11 innings).  Ronnier Mustelier led of the eleventh with a triple and scored the game winning run.  Aaron Hicks had two hits.  Jhon Garcia pitched seven strong innings, giving up a run on six hits and a walk.  Matt Hauser threw three shutout inning, giving up a hit and a walk.  Brad Stillings worked the eleventh and took the loss.

DSL Twins 11, White Sox 1 at White Sox.  The Twins scored seven in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie.  Jonatan Ynojoso had two hits.  Wander Guillen tripled and drove in four.  Starter Jose Abreu pitched four innings, giving up an unearned run on four hits and two walks.  Felix Jorge struck out five in three shutout innings, giving up three hits and getting the win.  Ezequiel Zarzuela threw the last two shutout innings, striking out three while giving up two hits.

Indianapolis 7, Rochester 6 in Indianapolis (12 innings).  The Red Wings led 3-0 after four, fell behind 5-3 after seven, scored in the eighth and ninth to tie, scored in the twelfth to get ahead, only to see the Indians score two in the bottom of the twelfth to steal the victory.  Aaron Bates singled and homered, raising his average to .317.  Matt Tolbert and Rene Rivera each singled and doubled, with Rivera driving in three.  Chase Lambin had two hits.  Kevin Slowey allowed three runs on ten hits in six innings, walking none.  Cole DeVries threw two shutout innings, giving up just a walk.  Jim Hoey took the loss in his third inning of work.

New Britain 6, New Hampshire 5 in New Britain (13 innings).  The Fisher Cats took a 5-3 lead in the top of the thirteenth, only to see the Rock Cats score three in the bottom of the inning to win.  Mark Dolenc had two singles, a double, and a triple.  Brian Dozier, Chris Parmelee, and Yangervis Solarte each singled and doubled, with Solarte raising his average to .329.  Mike Hollimon had two hits.  Starter Blake Martin struck out eight in four innings, but allowed two runs on three hits and five walks.  Spencer Steedley struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up just a walk, and Tyler Robertson struck out four in three innings, giving up three hits and a walk.  Brett Jacobson got the win despite giving up the two thirteenth-inning runs in his second inning of work.

Myers.  The Yankees scored five in the second to take control.  Danny Rohlfing had two doubles.  Nick Romero had two hits.  Logan Darnell had a rare bad game, surrendering six runs on nine hits and three walks in 3.1 innings.  Ricky Bowen struck out six in 3.2 innings of scoreless relief, giving up two hits and a walk.

Lansing 7, Beloit 6 in Lansing.  The Snappers scored four in the ninth to make it close and had the bases loaded with one out, but a double play ended the game.  Lance Ray had two singles and a double.  Daniel Santana singled and doubled.  Adrian Salcedo gave up three runs on six hits and a walk in five innings.

Burlington 6, Elizabethton 5 in Burlington.  The Twins fell behind 5-1 after two, tied the score after five, but lost in the bottom of the ninth.  JaDamion Williams had two singles and a double, driving in three and raising his average to .375.  Eddie Rosario singled and homered, raising his average to .308.  Niko Goodrum singled and tripled.  Miguel Sano had two hits.  David Hurlbut surrendered five runs on nine hits and a walk in just 3.1 innings. Cole Johnson worked two shutout innings, giving up a hit and three walks.  Steven Gruver also threw two shutout innings, striking out four while allowing just a walk.  Matthew Summers pitched the ninth and took the loss, giving up a run on four hits.

GCL Orioles 9, Twins 5 at Orioles.  The Orioles scored four in the sixth to put the game away.  Candido Pimentel and Romy Trinidad each had two hits.  Angel Morales hit a three-run homer.  David Bromberg started and pitched two innings, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk.  Ricardo Arevalo took the loss, surrendering five runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks while striking out four in three innings.

DSL Diamondbacks 11, Twins 1 at Diamondbacks.  The Diamondbacks scored six in the first.  Erick Gonzalez had three hits, raising his average to .310.  Starter Yorman Landa did not give up a hit, but did not retire anyone, either:  he faced six batters, walking four and hitting two, and was charged with all six first-inning runs.  Melcaides De La Cruz pitched three shutout innings of relief, striking out five while giving up two hits.

Indianapolis 3, Rochester 0 in Indianapolis.  The Indians scored in the fourth, seventh, and eighth.  The Red Wings had only three hits.  Denard Span was 0-for-4, dropping his average to .150 (3-for-20).  Scott Diamond gave up two runs on seven hits and two walks in 6.1 innings.

New Britain 7, Altoona 2 in Altoona.  The Rock Cats broke a 2-2 tie with a run in the seventh and put it away with four in the eighth.  Yangervis Solarte was 3-for-3 with a home run and a walk, driving in three and raising his average to .328.  Chris Parmelee singled, doubled, and tripled.  Chris Herrmann singled and tripled.  Steve Hirschfeld got the win, giving up two runs on eight hits and a walk in six innings.  Dakota Watts worked the final three innings, allowing just one hit in getting the save.

Clearwater 6, Ft. Myers 1 in Clearwater.  The Threshers broke a 1-1 tie with a run in the fifth and then scored four in the seventh.  Danny Rams had two singles and a double.  James Beresford had two hits.  Tom Stuifbergen allowed five runs on twelve hits in 6.2 innings, walking none and striking out five.

Lansing 6, Beloit 4 in Lansing.  The Lugnuts scored three in the first and never trailed.  Jairo Perez drove in three runs, but dropped his average to .357.  B. J. Hermsen allowed five runs, all unearned, on six hits and a walk in five innings.

Burlington 4, Elizabethton 3 in Burlington.  The Twins scored three in the sixth to take a 3-1 lead, but the Royals scored two in the sixth to tie and one in the ninth to win.  JaDamion Williams had two singles and a double, raising his average to .340.  Eddie Rosario had two hits.  Starter Matthew Bashore struck out five in three innings, giving up a run on two hits and no walks.  Derek Christensen worked 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hits and two walks.  Steven Evans started the ninth and took the loss.

DSL All-star Game.  AL 5, NL 3.  Erick Gonzalez was 1-for-2 with a double.  Francisco Nunez pitched the fourth and got the win, striking out the side.  The NL All-stars made five errors.

Rochester 12, Indianapolis 5 in Indianapolis.  The Red Wings led 5-0 after three and a half, had the lead cut to 6-5 after six, then scored five in the eighth to put it away.  Rene Rivera hit two homers, a double, and a single, scoring three times and driving in three.  Brandon Roberts had three singles and a double.  Jeff Bailey doubled and homered, driving in three.  Denard Span had two hits.  Dustin Martin hit a two-run homer.  Eric Hacker got the win despite allowing five runs on eight hits in five innings.  He struck out five and walked none.  Dusty Hughes struck out four and gave up one hit in two shutout innings, and Jake Stevens struck out two in two perfect innings.

Altoona 7, New Britain 2 in Altoona.  The Curve scored five in the first inning.  Mark Dolenc provided all the Rock Cats offense with a two run homer.  Starter Matt Schuld was charged with five runs on nine hits and four walks in 2.2 innings.  Andrew Albers struck out five in 4.1 innings, giving up a run on four hits and two walks.

Myers 6 in Clearwater.  The Threshers scored two in the fourth to break a 4-4 tie and never trailed.  Oswaldo Arcia had two singles and a double.  Jamaal Hawkins had two doubles.  Josmil Pinto singled and doubled, driving in four.  James Beresford had two hits.  Pat Dean surrendered six runs on nine hits and a walk in four innings.  Alex Wimmers struck out six in two innings, but allowed two runs on four walks and a hit.  Matt Hauser struck out three in a shutout inning, walking one.

Lansing 3, Beloit 1 in Lansing.  The Lugnuts scored single runs in the first, third, and eighth.  Reggie Williams provided the only Snapper run with his first homer.  A. J. GCL Twins 6, Red Sox 1 at Red Sox.  The Twins took the lead with three in the fifth.  Michael Quesada singled and doubled.  Candido Pimentel and Jorge Polanco each had two hits.  Starter Hung Yi Chen pitched only three innings, giving up a run on five hits and a walk.  The win went to Nathan Fawbush, who threw two shutout innings and allowed just one hit.  Gonzalo Sanudo struck out four in two shutout innings, giving up no hits and no walks. Marcus Limon got the save with two more shutout innings, giving up two hits.
