Bufflao 9, Rochester 6 in Rochester.  The Bisons scored three in the seventh to break a 4-4 tie.  Mike Hollimon and Jeff Bailey each singled and homered.  Chase Lambin singled and doubled.  Andrew Baldwin allowed five runs (four earned) on eight hits and no walks in six innings to take the loss.  The Red Wings made two errors, leading to five unearned runs.

Lakeland 11, Ft. Myers 2 in Ft. Myers.  The Flying Tigers scored six runs in the first two innings.  The Miracle had six hits, all singles.  Edgar Ibarra surrendered six runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out four in two innings.  Alex Wimmers struck out five in four innings, but also allowed five runs on five hits and a walk.  Ricky Bowen pitched two shutout innings, giving up one hit.

Cedar Rapids 5, Beloit 4 in Cedar Rapids (11 innings).  Randal Grichuk hit a two-out walk-off homer off Nelvin Fuentes.  Daniel Santana had two hits.  Lance Ray hit his eleventh home run.  Ryan O'Rourke gave up three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks in six innings.  Jose Gonzalez worked 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up three hits and two walks.

Elizabethton 4, Johnson City 2 in Elizabethton.  The Twins scored four in the fifth and it was all they needed.  The Twins had only five hits but drew six walks.  Starter Derek Christensen worked four shutout innings, giving up two hits and two walks while striking out five.  Cole Johnson got the win despite allowing a run on three hits and two walks in two innings.  Madison Boer worked a perfect ninth for his eighth save.

GCL Rays 6, Twins 2 at Rays.  The Rays scored four in the first.  The Twins out-hit the Rays 8-5 but issued eight walks.  Phillip Chapman singled and tripled.  Starter Angel Mata lasted only two-thirds of an inning, yielding four runs on four walks and a hit.  Mark Trau and Marcus Limon each went two shutout innings, with Trau just giving up a walk and Limon allowing a walk and two hits.

DSL Padres 10, Twins 6.  The Twins were behind 8-1 after seven, then scored five in the eighth to make it look better.  Ronald Jimenez and Felix Gallardo each had two hits.  Starter Melcaides De La Cruz worked four innings, giving up a run on four hits and a walk to take the loss.

Rochester 6, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 3 in Rochester.  The Red Wings hit a pair of three-run homers.  Chase Lambin singled, tripled, and hit a three-run homer.  Mike Hollimon had two singles and a double.  Jeff Bailey singled and hit a three-run homer.  Denard Span was 1-for-5, closing out his rehab stint with an average of .205.  Liam Hendriks threw seven strong innings, giving up three runs on eight hits while walking none.  Jim Hoey struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings to get the save.

Bowie 12, New Britain 8 in New Britain.  The Rock Cats led 6-5 after five, but the Baysox scored three in the sixth and three more in the eighth.  Yangervis Solarte had two doubles and a single, raising his average to .326.   Deibinson Romero singled and homered, his tenth, and drove in three.  Joe Benson singled and doubled.  Brian Dozier and Chris Parmelee each had two hits.  Deinys Suarez allowed five runs on eight hits and four walks in five innings.  Andrew Albers took the loss, surrendering three runs on four hits in two innings.

Lakeland 9, Ft. Myers 4 in Ft. Myers.  The Flying Tigers scored four in the second and were never threatened.  Josmil Pinto singled and tripled.  Starter Jhon Garcia lasted only 1.2 innings, surrendering five runs (two earned) on three hits and four walks.  Matt Hauser pitched two scoreless innings of relief, giving up one hit.

Cedar Rapids 6, Beloit 1 in Cedar Rapids.  The Kernels scored three in the first to take control.  Reggie Williams had three hits.  Adrian Salcedo allowed five runs on eight hits and no walks in five innings.

Johnson City 10, Elizabethton 6 in Elizabethton (10 innings).  The Twins led 4-0, fell behind 6-5, tied it in the sixth inning, but lost in the tenth.  Kennys Vargas had four hits, raising his average to .308.  JaDamion Williams had two singles and a double, raising his average to .373.  Max Kepler had two hits.  Jairo Rodriguez homered.  Tim Shibuya allowed six runs (five earned) on ten hits and two walks while striking out six in five innings.  Cesar Ciurcina pitched the tenth, surrendering all four runs in taking the loss.

Rochester 6, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 2 in Rochester.  The Red Wings scored in five of the eight innings they batted.  Aaron Bates had three hits to raise his average to .327.  Mike Hollimon, Jeff Bailey, and Toby Gardenhire each had two hits.  Rene Rivera had two hits.  Kevin Slowey struck out eight in eight innings, giving up only an unearned run on five hits and no walks.

Bowie 1, New Britain 0 in New Britain.  The Baysox scored the only run of the game in the fourth.  The only Rock Cat with a hit was Joe Benson, who went 2-for-2 with two walks and stole two bases.  Blake Martin worked 5.2 innings, giving up a run on five hits and three walks.  Spencer Steedley threw two shutout innings, giving up two hits.

Ft. Myers 9, Lakeland 2 in Ft. Myers.  A five-run fourth gave the Miracle all the runs it needed.  James Beresford had two singles and a double.  Anderson Hidalgo singled and hit a grand slam.  Jon Goncalves had two hits.  Logan Darnell went seven strong innings, giving up a run on four hits and two walks while striking out six.  Ricky Bowen struck out three in two innings, allowing an unearned run on two hits.

Beloit 10, Cedar Rapids 5 in Cedar Rapids.  The Snappers had a pair of three-run innings, the second and the sixth.  Reggie Williams had four hits, raising his average to .327.  Tobias Streich had three hits.  Lance Ray singled and doubled, driving in three.  Jairo Perez had two hits to get his average back to .352.  Daniel Ortiz hit his ninth home run.  B. J. Hermsen pitched six innings, giving up three runs on eight hits and a walk.  Blayne Weller worked two shutout innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out two.

Danville 3, Elizabethton 2 in Elizabethton.  The Twins were down 2-0 after three and a half and scored in the fourth and fifth to tie, but a sixth-inning Braves run decided matters.  Eddie Rosario singled and doubled to raise his average to .318.  Niko Goodrum had two hits.  David Hurlbut allowed all three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six in 5.2 innings.

GCL Red Sox 4, Twins 2 at Twins.  A two-run fifth gave the Red Sox a 3-0 lead.  Jacob Younis had two of the Twins' four hits.  Starter Hung Yi Chen worked three innings, giving up a run on two hits and a walk to take the loss.

Louisville 8, Rochester 3 in Louisville.  The Bats scored seven in the second.  No Red Wing had more than one hit; Denard Span was 1-for-5.  Scott Diamond was hammered for eight runs on twelve hits and two walks in 2.2 innings.  Cole DeVries pitched 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and two walks.

New Britain 4, Bowie 3 in New Britain (Game 1--Scheduled 7 innings).  The Rock Cats scored two in the second and two in the third.  Deibinson Romero singled and doubled.  David Bromberg pitched four innings, giving up two runs on six hits and two walks.  Deolis Guerra got the win in relief, allowing a run on two hits with three strikeouts in two innings.  Tyler Robertson walked two in a scoreless seventh to get his eleventh save.

New Britain 3, Bowie 1 in New Britain (Game 2--Scheduled 7 innings).  The Rock Cats scored in the first, fourth, and sixth.  Chris Herrmann hit a home run, his sixth.  Steve Hirschfeld pitched six innings, striking out six while giving up a run on three hits and three walks.  Brett Jacobson worked a perfect seventh for his first save.

Lakeland 11, Ft. Myers 0 at Ft. Myers.  The Flying Tigers pounded out nineteen hits and scored in six of the nine innings.  Angel Morales had two hits.  Tom Stuifbergen surrendered seven runs on ten hits and a walk in five innings.

Burlington 2, Beloit 0 in Burlington.  The Bees scored both runs in the third.  Lance Ray had two hits.  A. J. Achter gave up two runs on four hits and four walks in five innings.  Bart Carter struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk.

Danville 5, Elizabethton 4 in Elizabethton (10 innings).  The Twins lost leads of 1-0, 3-2, and 4-3.  Chase Larson homered off Cole Johnson leading off the tenth for the game-winner.  JaDamion Williams singled, doubled, and drew three walks.  Miguel Sano hit his seventh homer.  Pedro Guerra struck out six in five innings, giving up two runs on six hits.  Matthew Summers struck out four in two innings, allowing a run on two hits and two walks.

GCL Red Sox 15, Twins 9 at Red Sox.  The Twins led 7-0 after three and a half, but the Red Sox scored seven in the fourth and four in the fifth.  Stephen Wickens had two hits and scored three times.  Jacob Younis singled and doubled.  Michael Quesada and Joshua Hendricks each had two hits, with Quesada driving in three.  Starter Bobby O'Neill pitched three shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk.  Of the six relief pitchers, only Nick Cicio went unscored upon, and he allowed three hits in two-thirds of an inning.

DSL Rockies 5, Twins 0 at Twins.  The Rockies broke a scoreless tie with one in the sixth, then put it away with three in the seventh.  The Twins had only four hits.  Junior Subero gave up a run on three hits and a walk in five innings.
