The Cardinals broke a 1-1 tie with five runs in the fifth.  Fecundo Velasquez hit a three-run homer and Edward Guribe hit a two-run homer.

Pitching prowess:  Leonardo Rondon struck out six in four innings, giving up one run on three hits and a walk.  Eudy Garcia pitched 2.2 innings, giving up an unearned run on two hits and four walks and striking out two.
