Minor Details: Games of July 25

SAINTS 14, MUD HENS 7 IN ST. PAUL

Anthony Prato homered in the seventh to break a 7-7 tie, and St. Paul went on to score six runs in the inning.

Andrew Stevenson was 4-for-5 with a three-run homer (his twelfth), a double, a walk, and four runs.
Prato was 3-for-5 with a home run (his seventh), a double, two runs, and three RBIs.
Gilberto Celestino was 2-for-5 with a home run (his third), a double, a walk, three runs, and three RBIs.

St. Paul drew thirteen walks and had two batters hit by pitches.

Louie Varland pitched 3.2 innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on nine hits and a walk and striking out four.
Michael Boyle struck out two and walked one in 1.1 scoreless innings.

FCL TWINS 6, FCL PIRATES 5 AT TWINS

The Twins scored two in the eighth, both on sacrifice flies, to take a 6-5 lead.  They had only four hits but drew ten walks and a hit batsman.

Cesar Lares pitched five innings, giving up five runs (four earned) on three hits and a walk and striking out eight.
Jacob Wosinski struck out three in two perfect innings.
Yon Landaeta struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up one hit and two walks.

DSL TWINS 10, DSL BRAVES 9 AT TWINS

The Twins led 10-5 before the Braves scored two in the eighth and two in the ninth.  They had the tying run on third when the game ended.

The Cedar Rapids Kernels are 16-8, in first place in the Midwest League West, three games ahead of Beloit and Peoria.

The Twins took a 9-0 lead in the first and couldn't hold it.  The Giants scored seven in the fourth to get back into it, tied it 12-12 with two in the sixth, and took the lead to stay with two in the seventh.
