Mickey (Dean Ween) gave a fun oral history of the album recently. I can't believe that an album that sonically polished was basically recorded in houses. Man, my engineering skills are shit.

Apparently the boys had a rough go of touring the second time around in Sweden. According to Noel, it was due to exhaustion, boredom, and the biggest problem: no drugs, man.
