I might be wrong here but I am pretty sure that Francisco Liriano, when starting on Tuesdays in 2011, only throws no-hitters.
Sorry for the shortness of this preview but I am going to be spending most of the week in Rochester this week. I will come back with scouting reports on Ray Chang, Chase Lambin, and Toby Gardenhire to make up for it.
I am at Camden Yards! JJ Hardy is 50 feet away! I caught a ball during BP!
Is JJ off the DL? Did you catch the ball on the fly? Sounds fun. Still easy to get cheap tix there?
JJ is in the lineup. My ticket wasn't so cheap, but not awful for how good it is. I got it on like 6 bounces.
Hardy goes deep!
A SS that can hit.. quaint idea.
Oh mother effer, I forgot to take him off the DL.
A strikeout for Liriano already? Whoa there, man. Slow down or you'll never pitch another no-hitter today.
dude, you just jinxed it!
Well, it was Jhonny Peralta. How could I have known?
Huh, I'm suddenly less in the mood to follow this game tonight.
Well, Bert. I tuned in just in time for Peralta to go boom. Sorry, fellahs.
I can't remember if I've said it here or only out loud, but is there a worse prize than sitting in the booth and being forced to remain silent?
Sitting in the radio booth perhaps?
Well, damn, you've got me there.
Tomorrow AM, I take off for the nothlands, so it will be easy to not worry about this game.
this doesn't bode well...
Well, this isn't good.
even before all that, i had a han solo moment.
That was scary, watching over the Radio.
Rain out! Rain out! Rain out!
bert suggested a "sacrifice fly" by martinez to get the twins off the field.
He must have been thinking 9-2 double play.
Looks like Frankie is pitching to contact again.
OFFS.
I love middle infielders with range.
Well, here's to another night of doing something else.
Why did Pootera call for the fastball there 3-2 to V-Mart? Seems like a poor idea.
Depends on his confidence in the slider today. Sounds like he lacked faith. Which is Disturbing.
SW reference #2
well, he hit it out of the infield at least.
I think with a hit on the board for the Twins, it's time for me to head home.
Roasted potatoes and carrots, sauteed sugar snap peas, leftover pulled pork, salad, SN Glissade.
Pan-seared chicken covered in panko & chimichurri. Black beans with garlic, mint, goat cheese, and cream.
Breakfast for dinner! Crêpes with fresh sliced banana & strawberries, sausages (from a certain local producer of meat products) and southern style potatoes. Washed down with a big glass of iced tea - hit 88 degrees in St. Paul today!
I've got the first pitcher of iced tea cooling in the fridge, waiting to be made into delicious Arnold Palmers.

[Homer Simpson drooling]
Chimichurri is da Bomb.
I don't think my undefeated game log streak is going to continue.
Tornado warning for northern Hennepin County.
And the sirens are sounding in NE MPLS.
The siren agrees with you.
Looks like it might be time for all of us to find something else to do.
Good god. Liriano & Duensing pitching like butt. The (ass)bats getting shut down by Rick freaking Porcello. I think I'm about done here.
I tuned in for Liriano and I get Duensing walking in a run...what gives? Eh, no matter, I've a paper to write - the final paper of law school!
Rain delay. Couldn't the Twins have waited just one more inning before having Duensing relieve Liriano?
The results couldn't have been much worse.
Maybe the Twins are counting on the game getting called off. That's what I'm hoping for.
I just realized the Twins will have a hard time winning this season if they consistently score 0 runs.
Wait, this thing's really starting again? Couldn't we just cut the Minnesota Nice for a minute and call this thing?
Golf ball-sized hail is the Twins Baseball! of weather phenomena.
why am i still watching this?
To see RT go yard.
I bet Porcello's been Iced before.
w00t. Groundskeeper Alex.
Speaking of the Original Groundskeeper, he has 21:7 K:BB and an 0.77 ERA in 23 1/3 innings in Sacratomato so far this year.
How 'bout some Morny action for a change?
I wonder when Twins baseball will stop sucking...
This week doesn't look good. Neither does the next. Maybe Mauer will be back after that.
eff this, time for deadwood.
And my next Deadwood disc doesn't arrive until tomorrow. Sigh.
Yuck.
I can understand the injuries, but the sucky bullpen just sucks.
In good news, Torii Hunter just stole 3rd and scored on a double to make it Sox 1-6 Angels in the bottom of the fifth in Anaheim.
Good god this sucks.
Dick brightening everyone's mood by telling 9/11 anecdotes.
HBP means get the rally started!
RT scoring again.
Cuddyer played that wrong. I think he could've caught it.
Take this one home, Homer. I've given over too many hours to this thing.
Nice tag, Drew.
Those last two runs allowed were just sloppy.
Oh and Capps pitches tonight? Good god.
That's about where I started cursing at Gardy and the radio and drank more opened up the second beer.
At least the Twins are still trying...kind of.
Revere smacks one into left field. Hope lives on!
Span grounds out. Hope extinguished.
