Minor Details: Games of 6/15

Rochester—No games scheduled.

Altoona 11, New Britain 10 in Altoona (10 innings).  The Rock Cats led by 6-1, 8-5, and 10-8, but could not hold those leads.  The Curve scored three runs in the bottom of the tenth on one hit, three walks, a hit batsman, and two sacrifice flies to win the game.  Mark Dolenc had four hits.  Chris Herrmann and Nate Hanson each had two singles and a homer, with Herrmann driving in three.  Deibinson Romero had two singles and a double.  Chris Parmelee singled and doubled and Danny Rohlfing had two hits. Liam Hendriks allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk in five innings.  Tyler Robertson struck out three in 2.1 scoreless innings of relief.  Blake Martin gave up a hit, two walks, and a hit batsman in a third of an inning to take the loss.  The Rock Cats made four errors.

Jupiter 3, Ft. Myers 2 in Jupiter.  Matt Hauser walked in the winning run in the ninth, one of three walks he issued in the inning.  Tom Stuifbergen went seven strong innings, giving up two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six in seven innings.  Jon Goncalves had two hits.

Beloit 6, Cedar Rapids 5 in Beloit.  The Snappers led 6-1 after eight and held on for the win.  Jairo Perez singled and homered, raising his average to .308.  B. J. Hermsen got the win, giving up just one run on seven hits and no walks in seven innings.  Jose Gonzalez allowed two hits but no runs in two-thirds of an inning to get the save.

DSL Twins 6, Orioles 2 at Twins (Game 1—Scheduled 7 innings).  A three-run third gave the Twins all the runs they needed.  Javier Pimentel homered to lead the Twins.  Yorman Landa allowed two unearned runs on two hits and a walk in four innings.  Francisco Nunez got the win with three perfect innings of relief, striking out seven of the nine batters he faced.  Nunez has yet to allow an earned run, striking out 21 in 12.2 innings this season.

DSL Twins 11, Orioles 1 at Orioles (Game 2—Scheduled 7 innings).  The Twins scored seven in the second and four in the sixth.  They had only nine hits but received eleven walks.  Adonis Pacheco singled and tripled, driving in four.  Joel Polanco singled and doubled.  Melcaides De La Cruz gave up a run on four hits in four innings.  Jose Vasquez pitched two perfect innings and was credited with the win.
