Binghamton 8, New Britain 7 in Binghamton. The Rock Cats trailed 6-3 and 7-5, tied it with two in the eighth, but lost it in the ninth. Chris Parmelee had two singles and a homer, his thirteenth. Nathan Hanson singled and doubled. Evan Bigley had two hits. Logan Darnell yielded seven runs on ten hits and no walks in 5.2 innings. Steve Hirschfeld pitched the ninth and took the loss.
Jupiter 1, Ft. Myers 0 in Ft. Myers. Gregg Glime hit a home run in the seventh for the only run of the game. Reggie Williams singled and doubled. Matthew Tomshaw worked five shutout innings, giving up just one hit and two walks. Edgar Ibarra allowed the seventh-inning homer in three innings.
Kane County 2, Beloit 0 in Kane County. The Cougars scored single runs in the fourth and the seventh. The Snappers had four hits, all singles. Manuel Soliman took a tough loss, going seven strong innings and giving up two runs on six hits with no walks.
Elizabethton 13, Bristol 3 in Elizabethton. The Twins led 6-3 after seven, then scored seven in the eighth. Miguel Sano had two doubles and a single, driving in four. JaDamion Williams singled and doubled, raising his average to .328. Matej Hejma and Niko Goodrum each had two hits. Eddie Rosario hit a home run, his thirteenth, and scored three times. Tim Atherton got the win, going five innings while giving up two runs on five hits and two walks. He struck out five.
GCL Rays 4, Twins 0 (5 innings--rain). The Rays scored all their runs in the fourth. Joshua Hendricks got both Twins hits, a single and a double. Ricardo Arevalo allowed all four runs (three earned) on four hits in four innings.
