Doesn't bode well on the catcher when Berkman can steal a base, uncontested.
I miss Gomez patrolling the Twins' outfield. Such a good defender.
THAT'S the GoGo defense that I remember. Dammit.
Dotel looks like he'd be more at home with a La'z'Boy and a 30-pack.
Damn near every Brewer player looks like they'd be more at home with a La'z'Boy and a 30-pack.
That is a very good point.
Brewers doing their best worst to give the Cards some more insurance.
Giving Yuniesky Betancourt ample playing time will tend to have that side effect.
Going to the NLDS was awesome, but seeing that both Yuni and Bloomquist were in starting lineups for playoff teams filled me with thoughts of an impending apocalypse.
Nick Punto's in it, too.
Immediately after their set, Brian Roberts of HHT asks me, "Hey, do you have a phone? I need to know what the score is."
Their set went from 9:15-10pm CST. It must have been the "Rock Star" version of when I had to sit through a meeting during a 2006 ALDS game.

Or maybe that's fortunately, because otherwise I would have been at the House of Milk all night, rather than enjoying my solo night out.
I caught up with him again later, and he was much happier. "It's reminding me so much of 2006. I had this feeling back in Mid-September, when they started winning a few, that it's happening all over again." If there was a silent hashtag in there, he was subtly mocking me.
Oh, and he told me I'd be welcome in Redbird Nation any time.
I told him that being a Twins fan for the past decade has been too easy, and it's time I pay my dues as a fan.
Oops...trashed mine. I knew I was leaving soon (I thought I'd be gone by now) so when I saw there was no log started, yeah, I got antsy.
Despite that nearly being a balk and being picked off, Gomez made the attempted stolen base rather close.
Time to bust out that "must-win game" meme.
How often is it you see a guy make a great play in the field, only to absolutely butcher the next routine ball hit to him?
Sounds like vintage Casilla to me
