2011 NLCS, Game 6: Cardinals at Brewers

Edwin Jackson vs. Shaun Marcum

When the home team has to win Game 6 to force Game 7, that can provide a lot of drama. Of course, I really don't need to mention that to Twins fans. A Game 7 would feature Carpenter vs. Gallardo, so I think I'll be rooting for the Brewers in this one.

    1. Well, if you want to fit in really well around here, you should be rooting for a Cards win, then.

    1. And he doesn't come out for the second. No surprise, though he probably wouldn't have given up another run. LNP doesn't exactly strike fear into anyone.

  1. Assuming the Cards maintain their lead, that leaves zero citizens who correctly predicted the World Series matchup. Six, however, got at least one right.

  2. so, if STL finishes it tonight, it's down to me vs. zooomx.2. If Milwaukee comes back to win the series, it's MoT vs the Dread Pirate, I think.

    1. Not necessarily. The World Series is worth five points, so if the Cards win the Series in less than seven games, then zooomx won't have enough to pass the Dread Pirate. If Milwaukee comes back to win the NLCS, then you still have a chance if Texas wins in seven.

      1. Wait, zooomx would still pass Will if the Cards win tonight, but win the Series in fewer than seven games.
