Batting stars: Chris Herrmann was 2-for-4 with a walk and his second home run, scoring three times. Danny Lehmann was 2-for-4 and Deibinson Romero was 2-for-5.
Pitching stars: Lester Oliveros, Brett Jacobson, and Deolis Guerra each worked two shutout innings of relief, with Guerra striking out five.
Key inning: The seventh. Down 6-1 with two out and no one on base, Pedro Florimon walked, Lehmann, James Beresford, and Aaron Hicks singled, Herrmann walked, and Evan Bigley and Chris Colabello singled. The rally tied the score, and the Rock Cats went on to win it in the ninth.
Other: Nathan Hanson’s two-out double drove in the winning run in the ninth.
FORT MYERS 7, ST. LUCIE 1 AT ST. LUCIE
Batting stars: Levi Michael was 3-for-4 with a triple and a walk, scoring three times. Daniel Santana was 3-for-5 with a double. Michael Gonzales was 2-for-4 with his second home run.
Pitching stars: B. J. Hermsen gave up a run on seven hits and a walk in five innings. Matthew Hauser struck out three in three shutout innings, allowing only a walk.
Opposition stars: Richard Lucas was 2-for-4 with a double. Ryan Fraser worked 2.2 scoreless innings.
Key inning: The first. The first three batters got hits, as Santana singled, Michael tripled, and Angel Morales doubled to give the Miracle a 2-0 lead. They built it to 4-0 after five and never trailed.
BELOIT 8, WEST MICHIGAN 0 IN WEST MICHIGAN
Offensive stars: Daniel Ortiz was 3-for-5 with a double, driving in four. Wang-Wei Lin was 2-for-3 with a double and two walks.
Pitching stars: Tim Shibuya struck out five in 5.2 scoreless innings, giving up eight hits and a walk.
Opposition star: Dean Green was 2-for-3 with a walk.
Key inning: The seventh. Already ahead 3-0, the Snappers put together a five-run inning on four hits and two walks. The key hits were two-run doubles by Adam Bryant and Ortiz.
Other: A. J. Achter came into a bases loaded jam with two out in the bottom of the sixth and struck out Matthew Perry to end the threat.

"Deibinson Romero" is the new leader in the clubhouse to replace "Yangervis Solarte" as my favorite name in the organization.
It's nice seeing the minor league teams do well. I feel better knowing that help is on the way. It doesn't mean the Twins are going to win postseason games, but being .500 is a lot nicer than being .350. Good seasons mean postseason contention while bad seasons mean wait a year.
