Where They Stand

Short seasons are done, the others will conclude over the three-day weekend.  Elizabethton is in the playoffs, Beloit will be.

Minnesota is 53-78, fifth in the AL Central, 19.5 games behind Chicago.  The Twins have lost one consecutive game and are 2-8 in their last ten games.

Rochester is 70-70, fourth in the IL North, 12 games behind Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.  The Rock Cats have lost one consecutive game and are 4-6 in their last ten games.

New Britain is 71-67, third in the EL East, six games behind Trenton.  The Rock Cats are three games behind Reading for the last playoff spot.  They have won two consecutive games and are 3-7 in their last ten games.

Fort Myers is 31-34 in the second half, fifth in the FSL South, six games behind Jupiter.  For the season, the Miracle is 59-73.  It has won three consecutive games and is 6-4 in its last ten games.

Beloit is 35-31, tied for second in the ML Western, nine games behind Clinton.  The Snappers clinched a playoff spot with their second-place finish in the first half.  For the season, Beloit is 74-62.  The Snappers have won two consecutive games and are 6-4 in their last ten games.

Elizabethton finished 43-22, first in the AL West, five games ahead of Johnson City.  The Twins are currently in the first round of the playoffs.  They are tied 1-1 in a best-of-three series with Danville.

The GCL Twins finished 33-27, second in the GCL South, one game behind the Red Sox.

The DSL Twins finished 31-39, sixth in the B. C. B. C., twelve games behind the Diamondbacks.

The Florida State League regular season concludes Sunday.  The International League, Eastern League, and Midwest League conclude their regular seasons Monday.

    Three games out of the playoffs, four to play, 3-7 over their past ten.
