Game summary:  The Javelinas scored five runs in the sixth to put the game away.

Javelinas:  Didi Gregorius (Cincinnati) was 4-for-4 with a double, scoring twice.  Mike Zunino (Seattle) was 3-for-5 with two triples, scoring once and driving in one.

Scottsdale:  Chris Dominguez (San Francisco) was 2-for-4 with a solo home run.

MESA 8, PHOENIX 3 IN MESA

Game summary:  Mesa scored four in the fifth to turn a 3-2 deficit into a 6-3 lead and never looked back.  Javier Baez (Cubs) hit a three-run homer in the inning.

Phoenix:  Kevin Kiermaier (Tampa Bay) was 3-for-4 with a double.  Brock Kjellgaard (Milwaukee) was 2-for-4 with two homers, driving in all three Desert Dog runs.

Mesa:  George Springer (Houston) was 2-for-2 with a walk and a double, driving in two.  Jonathan Singleton (Houston) was 1-for-2 with a two-run homer and two walks.

SURPRISE 10, SALT RIVER 2 IN SURPRISE

Game summary:  Surprise broke a scoreless tie with a four-run third, which was more than enough.  Chris McGuiness (Texas) hit a three-run homer in the inning.

Salt River:  Andy Wilkins (White Sox) was 2-for-4 with a double.

Surprise:  McGuiness (St. Louis) was 3-for-5 with a double and the home run.  Kevin Segrist struck out five in three perfect innings.
