  1. Gibson has a 16-0 K/BB rate and 3/1 GO/AO rate in 10 innings in the AFL. The only run he's allowed came on a two-out ground-ball single with a runner on third base. So far, through the regular season and the AFL, Gibson has improved his K rate since TJ surgery.

    1. He also only threw 66 pitches in this start, so it's not like he's had a high pitch count either. They just pull him after five so the relievers get a chance to show their stuff to the scouts.

    2. It sounds like his velocity is up a bit too. They were saying he was working between 93-95 with his fastball in this start. I'm very, very excited to see how does in spring training.

  2. Morre Chrris Herrmann success! Cann't wait forr this guy to be ourr team's rregularr backup catcherr! (Sorrrry, Butterrs!)
