I wonder if some sponsor paid Fox to open with "Here we go".
Fox whore out to some sponsor?
The question is, how MANY sponsors.
the Cards seem a little tense
I'd walk Lohse to get to the #1 hitter. You don't want the opposing pitcher embarrassing you. That could be a game breaker.
Lohse should have taken your advice re: Cain.
I am getting real tired of the Cardinals not winning games.
Well, starting a former Twin n a pivotal playoff gamedoesn't seem super wise.
I take it last year they brought Punto off the bench, no?
Ugh, forgot about that. I'll just go with the starting pitcher being more important, or some such.
Why the crap is there a guy wearing a Marlins sweatshirt right behind home plate?
Ozzie Guillen looking for some offseason work umping?
While the guy doesn't look like him, this is the explanation I'm going to go with until proven otherwise.
"pitching can be weird" -Tim McCarver.
That is some hard hitting color commentary.
Fisted!
McCarver has been in rare form today. Why, I now know what it means when the home team wins every game in a series.
do you think the youngin's doing Harry Carey impersonations are doing impersonations of Will Farrell doing Harry?
Yes.
The Cards almost have the Giants right where they want them.
In the World Series?
Unrelated to baseball but I recently tapped this. I don't know that I agree with the bros but some good value for the price.
We don't get much Saranac round here.
Speaking of beer, I recently entered my black ipa into a contest. I will never do another one. For starters, the judges judged it as a regular ipa despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Then, one judge remarked that there was little to no hop aroma (???) and called it a nice American stout. Home brew competitions suck.
I never really tried it until the local shop had all of their products for $99. To this point I have been plesantly surprised by most of their offerings.
Bummer about the contest. Glad to see they have real connoisseurs judging these things.
$99 for a half or quarter? (I'm assuming half, which makes that a nice price. Cost me like three times that for decent beer at my wedding. Weddings suck.)
Half. It is awfully good value.
Not sure "setting the table" is the best phrase to Se for Sandoval.
That was some Jeter-like range at short.
Some fail out there in the outfield.
DE-FENCE! Clap. Clap.
The game doesn't even get interesting until top of the 9th, two outs, two strikes.
Who is this Cosmo guy at short?
Looks to me like he's got the jimmy legs.
EAR wants to watch "the Bait".
Just pulled up Gameday.
Well crax. I guess Punteckstein is the Greatest Cardinal Ever after all...
6-0. Just where the Cards want to be?
Cash your tickets over bettors!
The wheels are just flying off.
Oy, this is not making for exciting baseball.
Scutters 2-for-2 with a run scored? There's your NLCS MVP.
Prediction? Cards battle back with some Beltrán heroics, get the tying run to the plate in the ninth with two outs, Beltrán strikes out... swinging on a 3-2 pitch in the dirt.
at least he's swinging this time!
Called the Scutters thing.
Not so much on the "Battle Back" or the Beltrán thing.
Anyone on the Giants or Tigers deserve an inflection mark?
I mean, Besides Ðelmøn?
I might watch last night's episode of Homeland again if this keeps up.
No wonder Kozma was fooled by Pence's broken bat single, the bat struck the ball three times.
That was amazing to watch on replay.
Yadier the only Cardinal that doesn't already have other plans for Wednesday night.
I've had a long day and enough of this crappy game. I'm going to bed.
Another "God Bless America" singer who likes the sound of his voice too much.
Muted. As are they all.
Just need 12 more walks!
Ahead nine, two outs, bottom of the ninth, two runners on: Playoffs Save Opp.
And they did it all with one batting champion tied behind their backs!
I would have issued snorkles for the 9th inning.
Can I start barking about how I am gonna win the brackef yet?
Giants in five and you're the champ. But that means they won't win any elimination games.

that DOES bode ill for me.
