I don't know if I have ever liked a band so much and enjoyed their live show so little. With that in mind, here is an entire performance from the Fiery Furnaces.

After the first time I saw them I had to see them a second time in hopes that it was just one bad show. It wasn't. 40 Watt Club, 2005.
This is the stuff.
some men just want to watch the world burn...
Just wait until tomorrow.
Good idea!

Alternate history: what if Jimi Hendrix survives the 70's and in the late 90's makes an album with vocals from Rob Thomas and Wyclef?
Yeah, that's what the albums sound like to me.
I might have been too generous with my 5.
If I put in a one, it'll be like we both put in threes.
This is better than James Taylor, no?
Sure, which is why I'm not voting until I hear from you if I should move your vote down.
I will let you make that decision. One thing to keep in mind is 6 giving it somewhere between an 8-10.
There used to be some cool footage from an Amoeba Records gig where it was just the siblings. Matthew played keys and Eleanor sang. Really great. Couldn't find it when I looked a few weeks back, though. I gave the clip a 10 on principle.
(FWIW, I've been on a pretty heavy FF kick of late.)
I haven't listened to anything new since Rehearsing My Choir other than the Elanor solo disc. Are the newer albums worth checking out?
Widow City is the last one I picked up. It's worth having. Do you have EP? i think that might be my favorite release of their's right now--8 songs, no filler.
I do have EP. Did that come out after Choir? Nothing is going to touch Blueberry Boat as far as I am concerned. That album is one I will always come back to.
