Game summary:  Sydney put together four singles to score twice in the top of the tenth, then held on to win.

Sydney:  Chris Oxspring (Detroit) struck out seven in 7.1 innings, giving up one run on six hits and no walks.  Zachary Penprase was 2-for-4 with a double and drove in two.

Canberra:  Brian Grening allowed one run on three hits in six innings.  K. C. Hobson (Toronto) was 2-for-4 with a home run.

Game summary:  Perth scored two in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie, four in the sixth to take control, and six in the seventh to put it away.

Perth:  Allan de San Miguel (Baltimore) was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, and a walk, scoring three times and driving in two.  Adam Melker (St. Louis) was 4-for-5 with a double and a walk and scored twice.

Adelaide:  Chris Adamson was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.  Mathew Smith was 0-for-1 with three walks and scored once.
