Game summaryColabello hit a two-run homer to put Guasave ahead in the second, and a three-run third put Guasave firmly in control.  Navojoa scored single runs in the seventh, eighth, and ninth to make the final score close.

Navojoa:  Matt Padgett was 2-for-4 with a double.  Esteban Haro struck out two in two shutout innings.

Guasave:  Sergio Mora gave up one run on four hits and two walks in 6.1 innings.  Zelous Wheeler (Baltimore) was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer.

Game summary:  A four-run Mexicali rally in the eighth turned a 3-1 deficit into a 5-3 victory.

Los Mochis:  Pedro Luis Lazo allowed one run on two hits and two walks in 5.1 innings.  Saul Soto was 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk.

Mexicali:  Santiago Gutierrez struck out five in six innings, giving up two runs on six hits and two walks.  Issmael Salas was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

OBREGON 5, HERMOSILLO 3 IN OBREGON

Game summary:  Obregon scored four in the sixth to take a 5-2 lead.

Hermosillo:  Starter Dennys Reyes gave up one run on six hits and three walks in four innings.  Jesse Gutierrez was 2-for-4 with a double and drove in a run.

Obregon:  Willy Taveras was 2-for-3.  Alfredo Amezaga (Cubs) was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring once and driving in one.

CULIACAN 7, MAZATLAN 2 IN MAZATLAN

Game summary:  Mazatlan clearly should have used Anthony Slama, as their bullpen surrendered three in the eighth and four in the ninth.

Culiacan:  Amauri Sanit allowed one run on four hits and two walks in six innings.  Cory Aldridge (Angels) was 2-for-4 with a walk and a two-run homer.

Mazatlan:  Jorge Castillo pitched 4.2 scoreless innings.  Oswaldo Morejon was 2-for-4 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in one.
