Twins pitchers basically cost the West the game.

EAST 9, WEST 4 AT EAST

Twins:  Kyle Gibson started and yielded two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out two.  Michael Tonkin surrendered five runs (four earned) on three hits and a hit batsman, retiring none of the five batters he faced.

Game summary:  The East scored six runs in the fifth to turn a 4-3 deficit into a 9-4 advantage.  No runs were scored after the fifth.

West:  Rymer Liriano (San Diego) was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a walk, scoring once and driving in one.

East:  Brian Goodwin (Washington) was 2-for-5 with a double and a home run, scoring twice and driving in two.  Chase Anderson (Arizona) struck out four in two shutout innings.
