CANBERRA 10, MELBOURNE 9 IN CANBERRA (GAME 1—SCHEDULED 7 INNINGS)

TwinsJoshua Hendricks (Melbourne) was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk.

Game summary:  Canberra led 8-0 after two.  Melbourne got the tying run on first with two out in the seventh.

Melbourne:  Scott Wearne was 3-for-4 with a double and a three-run homer, scoring twice.  Carlo Testa (Kansas City) was 2-for-2 with two walks and scored once.

Canberra:  Jack Murphy (Toronto) was 2-for-4 with a double and a homer, driving in three.  Kody Hightower was 2-for-3 with two doubles and scored twice.

CANBERRA 5, MELBOURNE 3 IN CANBERRA (GAME 2)

Twins Joshua Hendricks (Melbourne) was used as a reserve and was 0-for-2 with an RBI.

Game summary:  Canberra scored two in the seventh to tie the game at three and two in the eighth to take the lead.  Both eighth-inning runs were unearned.

Melbourne:  Carlo Testa was 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, and an RBI.  Elliot Biddle was 2-for-4 and scored once.

Canberra:  Masonori Fujihara pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk.  Michael Wells was 1-for-3 with a walk and a home run, scoring twice.

ADELAIDE 5, BRISBANE 2 IN ADELAIDE (GAME 1—SCHEDULED 7 INNINGS)

Game summary:  Adelaide overcame a 2-0 deficit with three in the fourth and two in the fifth.

Brisbane:  Cody Clark was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Adelaide:  Stefan Welch (Pittsburgh) was 2-for-3 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.  Ethan Paquette hit a three-run homer.

BRISBANE 7, ADELAIDE 3 IN ADELAIDE (GAME 2)

TwinsLogan Wade (Brisbane) was 1-for-4 with a walk and scored twice.

Game summary:  Brisbane scored four in the seventh to break a 2-2 tie.  The runs scored on a solo homer by Cody Clark and a three-run shot by Andrew Campbell (Cleveland).

Brisbane:  Alan Schoenberger was 3-for-3 with two walks and an RBI.  Campbell was 2-for-5.

Adelaide:  Ji-Man Choi (Seattle) was 1-for-3 with two walks, scoring once and driving in one.

PERTH 6, SYDNEY 4 IN SYDNEY

TwinsJaDamion Williams (Sydney) was 0-for-4.  Jacob Younis (Sydney) was 1-for-4 with a double.  Tyler Herr (Sydney) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit.

Game summary:  Perth scored five runs in the fifth to take a 5-2 lead.

Perth:  Allan de San Miguel (Baltimore) was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, scoring twice.  Carter Bell (Arizona) was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Sydney:  Zachary Penprase was 1-for-4 with a walk, scoring once and driving in two.
