Dominican Digest: Games of November 28

I'm not sure why this didn't show up yesterday, but it clearly didn't.

LICEY 4, ORIENTE 3 IN ORIENTE

TwinsJhonatan Arias (Oriente) was used as a defensive substitute and did not bat.  Miguel Sano (Oriente) was used as a pinch-hitter and was 0-for-1.
Game summary:  Licey scored all four runs in the first.  Oriente scored all three runs in the eighth.  Oriente had the tying run in scoring position with two out in the eighth and got him on base with none out in the ninth.
Licey:  Julio Teheran (Atlanta) struck out four in 5.2 shutout innings, giving up one hit and one walk.  Donell Linares hit a three-run homer.
Oriente:  Nelson Perez (Cubs) was 1-for-3 with a walk, a double, and two RBIs.  Victor Moreno struck out two in two perfect innings.

AGUILAS 12, ESCOGIDO 9 IN ESCOGIDO

Game summary:  Escogido led 9-3 after five.  Aguilas scored five in the sixth to get back into the game and three in the seventh to take the lead.  The two teams combined to use eighteen pitchers.
Aguilas:  Oscar Taveras (St. Louis) was 3-for-5 with a double and a walk, scoring once and driving in one.  Miguel Tejada was 2-for-5 with two doubles, scoring three times and driving in one.
Escogido:  Starling Marte (Pittsburgh) was 3-for-5 with a double and a triple, scoring twice and driving in three.  Wilkin Castillo (Dodgers) was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.

CIBAO 7, ESTE 4 IN CIBAO

Game summary:  Cibao scored two in the fifth to go ahead 3-1 and scored four in the eighth to go ahead 7-2.
Este:  Ricardo Nanita (Toronto) was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring once and driving in one.  Jose Constanza (Atlanta) was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
Cibao:  Moises Sierra (Toronto) was 3-for-4 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.  Alexi Casilla (Baltimore) was 3-for-5 with a home run, driving in three.
