A couple of Twins have good games.

AGUILAS 5, ESTE 4 IN AGUILAS

Twins: Samuel Deduno (Aguilas) struck out five in four innings, giving up one run on five hits and three walks.

Game summary: Aguilas took a 3-0 lead with three in the third. Este scored four in the fifth to go ahead 4-3. Aguilas scored two in the sixth on a two-run double by Joaquin Arias (San Francisco). Este only got one runner on base, after that, a two-out single in the ninth.

Este: Jose Ramirez (Cleveland) was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, and a walk, scoring once. Donell Linares was 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI.

Aguilas: Leury Garcia (Texas) was 3-for-4 with a walk, scoring twice and driving in one. Arias was 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs.

ORIENTE 7, ESCOGIDO 6 IN ORIENTE

Twins: Ray Olmedo was 2-for-3 and scored once.

Game summary: Oriente scored four in the third and never trailed. Escogido scored two in the ninth to make it 7-6 but did not get the tying run on base.

Escogido: Fernando Tatis was 2-for-4, scoring once and driving in one. Frank Diaz was 1-for-3 with a walk and scored twice.

Oriente: Luis Jimenez (Angels) was 2-for-4 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in two. Ed Rogers was 2-for-4, scoring once and driving in one.
