So far 4-2 against the Tigers and Orioles, and 0-5 against the Royals and Mets. Our prediction sheet could be pretty messed up, Citizens.
Also, the first BKAC podcast goes up tomorrow. It would have been today, but people aren't usually around as much on Sundays.
And with that, no Minnesota teams play today.
But also, no Minnesota teams lose today!
Good day to check out the Twins' minor league teams!
GPSP
I guess The Don's job is safe. The team that upset the Gophers in the first round won the Frozen Four.
prospect alert!
Oh snap. I hope he actually plays a few games.
you know what my first thought was: 'what about service time!'
And my first thought is "He'll hurt himself playing in the cold, or just plain turn against the state of MN."
Bring up Clete Thomas instead.
Clete's not on the 40 man.
I'm sure there's someone that can be cut.
It'd probably be Hendriks.
Or they could just put him on the 60-day DL.
It will be nice to get a look at Arcia, but unless they have a place for him starting every day, I would rather they call up Colabello. He would seem to be a guy you might want in Ramirez's role and it would be an awesome story to see a guy that was in independent baseball two years ago get a call up to the big leagues.
I'm thinking he could bat leadoff everyday
Can he play CF, though? I doubt it.
A word of reminder to the lawyer types: officers of the court may not appreciate your humor.
Hey, Spooky. How do you want the Prospect Watch info?
Do you mind putting it in the Cup of Coffee initially? I have some other ideas and want to see how the Watch goes before deciding on a more final location.
No problem.
Sorry - went to work before seeing this and it was a rather long day. Anyway, yes, I think in the CoC is the way to go.
Clay Buchholz has a no hitter going. Game on TBS
11 strikeouts, 4 walks through 7
Gives up a hit to the leadoff batter in the eighth. I guess if someone takes a no-hitter into the ninth tomorrow, we'll know to watch games intently on Tuesday.
Butch tells me Bismarck has 10" of new snow today. SBGVILLE at 4 and counting. Also dad told me Maurer sux.
I looked at the extended forecast. Weather Underground predicts snow for Monday. April 22.
He's only 22 though!
And he got his first win today!
my orange trees are in bloom and my roses have started to bloom (not bud -- blooms opening).
I mowed the back yard today. First real yard work since shoulder surgery six weeks ago. Pushing a push mower is...hard.
Did Bruce's Big Tree ride this afternoon - cold and windy. Did run into this 480yearold-erian.
we all know Aaron Hicks has been bad. But check out Brett Wallace of Houston: .042/.115/.042 .1 h it, 2 BB, 17 ks in 27 pa
Oooh, a rare treat: Yankmes on national broadcast!
the O's should roll over and let the Yanks win
why else would they be on Sunday night?
Prospect Watch through Games of 4/14
(You have a better version.)
The shortcode requires the columns to be in CSV format.
Well, that worked pretty well. Is there a way to do this so I don't have to manually input a comma between stat? I have this saved in a CSV spreadsheet.
If it's in CSV format, you can just copy it directly from the file. Open it in a text editor and copy/paste. I recommend splitting the hitters and pitchers apart to allow independently sorting the two.
Mets and Rockies will play a triple header
Apparently not. (Same link.)
Too bad. That would've been really cool.
Those Buccos throwback pullovers looked pretty sweet. Yellow-crown caps nice touch, too. But I can take em or leave em.
I can't tell if those a true sansabelt pants, but if not, nice job in disguising a belted pants for the old-school 1970s look.
Should he be more afraid of Quentin or Twins fans?
Don't tell Quintin, but Witness Protection has Blackburn in upstate NY.
