Batting stars: Daniel Ortiz was 3-for-4 with a home run, his fourth, scoring twice. Reynaldo Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs. James Beresford was 2-for-3.
Pitching stars: Logan Darnell struck out six in seven innings, giving up five hits and two walks. Aaron Thompson struck out two in two innings, giving up one hit.
Opposition stars: Jerad Head, Justin Bloxom, and Destin Hood were each 2-for-4. Harrisburg had six hits, all singles.

Key inning: The seventh. In a 2-2 tie, West Michigan scored five times. Schotts hit a two-run homer, Stewart hit a solo shot, and neither of them killed the rally. The home runs were followed by a pair of walks and a pair of singles, scoring two more runs and putting the Whitecaps ahead 7-2.
