Samuel Deduno is back in mid-season form. Another good day for Sano and Rosario. We may soon be saying the Jose Berrios has nothing to learn in Cedar Rapids.

A strikeout and a force out put runners on first and third with two down. Colabello walked to load the bases and Clement walked to force in a run and make the score 3-2. Evan Bigley then popped up to end the threat. The Red Wings went down in order in the ninth.

Key inning: The seventh. The Miracle had just tied the score at two when the Yankees responded with three runs. A single and an error put runners on first and second with none out. The next two batters fanned, and it appeared that Taylor Rogers, in his third inning of relief, might get out of the inning. Instead, Tampa got a pair of RBI singles and a steal of home by Robert Refsnyder to take a 5-2 lead. Three more Yankee runs in the eighth put the game out of reach. Fort Myers made five errors in the game.
