Key inning: The fourth. The Rock Cats had just scored two in the third to take a 4-3 lead. Almanzar walked and Spring hit a one-out two-run homer to put the SeaDogs in front. The damage was done off Cole DeVries, who gave up five runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out five in five innings.

Batting stars: Antoan Richardson was 3-for-4, scoring once and driving in one. Jason Christian was 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, and three RBIs. Dan Rohlfing was 2-for-3 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in two.
Pitching star: Trevor May struck out ten in a complete game shutout, giving up two hits and a walk and throwing 94 pitches.

Key inning: The sixth. Leading 3-0, the Rock Cats scored three times to put it away. Rohlfing had an RBI double, Richardson drove in a run with a single, and Christian had an RBI double.

Pitching stars: Zack Jones struck out five in two shutout innings, giving up only a walk. Chad Rogers struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up one hit. Adrian Salcedo struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up two hits.
Opposition stars: Anthony DeSclafini struck out eight in 5.1 innings, allowing one run on three hits and a walk. Isaac Galloway was 2-for-5 with a two-run homer.
Key inning: The eleventh. In a 2-2 tie, Stephen Wickens and Rosario led off the inning with singles. A wild pitch moved the runners up and led to an intentional walk to Miguel Sano. Vargas delivered a two-run single to put the Miracle in front and an infield out brought in a third run.
