2013 Game 38: The Other Sox at Minnesota Twins

Clay Buchholz
v
Vance Worley

Joe, time to work turn your pitch framing magic to 11. Worley needs all the help he can get.

Wait, Mauer isn't catching? Uh, oh.

  1. Who's the emergency catcher these days? Escobar sticks in my mind, but I can't see where he's ever caught before (although I see he did pitch two games in the Venezuelan Summer League). It used to be Morneau (who caught 22 games of rookie ball in 2000), but with his concussion problems I can't believe they'd do that. Willingham caught 180 games in the minors and 15 in the majors, but I really can't believe they'd do that, either.

  2. Worley's WHIP coming into this game: 1.949

so basically, he is allowing 2 batters to reach per inning. oof

  3. An actual good Twitter poll for the evening. It's been far too long since I've seen "The Sandlot", but I think I'm on #TeamHam

  4. What up, gents? I'm back from my two week long venture to Virginia Beach. Miss me?

    1. Mags may have made the right choice in not taking my offers of him for Joe Mauer in Half Baked Craf.

  5. Found this while driving around today. File this for future use.

  6. These Sheboygan Sausage ads on the radio just make me think of how excited I am for Wilfred to come back.

  7. The Twins were ahead as long as TK was in the booth. Thus, this is either TK's fault for leaving early or FSN's fault for not keeping him there for nine innings. At any rate, I guess we'll just have to settle for 142-20!
