Liam Hendriks has his third consecutive good outing.  Chris Colabello hits his twenty-third.  Kohl Stewart does well in his second outing.

ROCHESTER 5, SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 1 IN SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE

Batting star:  Chris Colabello was 2-for-5 with a three-run homer, his twenty-third.

Pitching stars:  Liam Hendriks pitched eight innings, giving up a run on three hits and two walks while striking out six.  Cody Eppley pitched a perfect inning.

Opposition stars:  Dellin Betances struck out two in 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk.

Key inning:  The first.  With one out, an error and a single put two men on.  Colabello took them off with a three-run homer, giving the Red Wings a 3-0 lead before the RailRiders came to bat.

EASTERN LEAGUE WESTERN 5, EASTERN LEAGUE EASTERN 0 IN NEW BRITAIN

Twins:  Danny Santana was 0-for-2.  Josmil Pinto was 2-for-4 with a double.  Daniel Ortiz was 0-for-2.  Trevor May pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout.  Edgar Ibarra pitched a scoreless inning, giving up no hits and one walk while striking out one.

Western stars:  Javier Herrera hit a three-run homer.  Toru Murata pitched two shutout innings, giving up one hit.

Easterm stars:  Albert Cartwright was 1-for-2 with a double.

Key inning:  The first.  The game opened with two walks and the Herrera three-run homer to give the Western Division the early lead.

JUPITER AT FORT MYERS

The game was suspended in the fifth inning with Jupiter leading 3-0.  Fort Myers has only one hit so far, a double by Stephen Wickens.

DAYTON 12, CEDAR RAPIDS 6 AT CEDAR RAPIDS

Batting stars:  J. D. Williams was 3-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.  Dalton Hicks was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring once and driving in two.  Travis Harrison was 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI.

Pitching stars:  Alex Muren pitched three innings, giving up one run on five hits.  David Hurlbut pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout.

Opposition stars:  Seth Mejias-Brean was 5-for-5 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in three.  Joe Hudson was 3-for-4 with a walk and two doubles, scoring twice and driving in one.  Sammy Diaz was 3-for-6, scoring twice and driving in one.

Key inning:  The first.  The Dragons opened the game with four runs.  Three singles loaded the bases and Jesse Winker hit a grand slam, putting Dayton ahead 4-0 before anyone had been retired.

Prospect watch:  Jorge Polanco was 0-for-4 with a walk.  Max Kepler was 0-for-5.

BRISTOL AT ELIZABETHTON

Batting star:  Brian Navarreto was 1-for-4 with a home run, his second.

Pitching stars:  Kohl Stewart struck out three in three shutout innings of relief, giving up one hit and no walks.  Starter Brandon Easton also pitched three innings, giving up one run on two hits and a walk.  Tyler Stirewalt pitched two perfect innings with one strikeout.

Opposition stars:  Elias PInates pitched five innings, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out two.  Yariel Vargas was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Key inning:  The tenth.  The score was tied at one.  Jose Abreu came on to pitch and struck out his first two batters.  He then walked Andrickson Zorrilla, who stole second and scored on a Vargas single to end the game.

Prospect watch:  Zach Larson was 1-for-4 with a double.  Adonis Pacheco was 0-for-4.  Amaurys Minier was 0-for-4.
