Twins:  Angel Morales (Carolina) pinch-hit and was 0-for-1.

Santurce:  Joseph Colon (Cleveland) pitched five innings, giving up one run on five hits and no walks with three strikeouts.

Carolina:  Anthony Garcia (St. Louis) was 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, his second.  Jesus Feliciano was 2-for-3 with two runs.  Yuya Iida pitched five innings, allowing one run on two hits and no walks with one strikeout.

The game:  Santurce scored one in the first and Carolina tied it in the fifth.  Each team scored once in the sixth.  In the seventh, Garcia hit a three-run homer to make it 5-2 Carolina.  Santurce got one in the eighth but did not get the tying run up to bat.
