  1. If get right Adleman has had a great career and all, but he's really not the right coach for this team. That's what, 5 games now lost when Rubio plays zero fourth quarter minutes. It's Rick watching only watching tape of Dallas in the finals thinking is recent?

Of course, getting rid of him now probably means flip on the bench...

    1. I was at the game last night and reading this, and the game log, was mirroring the thinking at the Target Center. Rubio had a very good third quarter and then . . . never returned?! The possession of the game was the one with just under two minutes left when Barea dribbled up, never passed, and jacked up a 3 about six seconds into the shot clock. The Wolves never led again. JJ HEROBALL is the worst.

      1. Well hey, when you've got a guy prone to hero ball who can't execute the offense with the best strength-4 in the f***ing game on the floor in a close game against a conference opponent in what will be a tight playoff race, you really gotta go with him.

JJ needs to be traded to save Adleman from himself.

  2. 6 Nations started today! My favorite stretch of the rugby season is upon us. Hopefully Ireland doesn't suck majorly this year.

  3. So GW's starting SG is out with a broken foot. The starting PG is out with a hip injury. Now the other starting SG (who played PG last game after the hip injury) is out with an illness. This is going to be ugggggggly.

    1. Meanwhile, a different team finally snapped their losing streak (I discovered today that they had a losing streak - I haven't been following at all) against the #7 team in the nation. Woo?

    1. That just means Spooky can post the same CoC tomorrow, and it'll be just like we're all living in the movie.

  4. bS prevails in a slugfest with bhiggum, 2-1. My reward is to take my daughter out for a driving lesson.

  5. I'm just back from my birthday* dinner at Dante's Kitchen . Will, you should check this joint out if you haven't yet. I'm stuffed to the gills, and not just from the whole speckled trout. The chicken under a brick was as good as advertised, the duck ham and candied squash salad was delightful, and the chocolate pudding was un-effing-believable. Plus two Sazeracs and my evening was complete. To the gym tomorrow.

*effing NFL with their effing game ruining my perfectly good birthday what with their parties and games and copyrights. Booooooooooooooo.

EDIT: It's no French Laundry, but I've got 15 more years to save my pennies.

    1. You should offer to re-do their web blog design for a couple of free meals. It's doing them no favors. (Who photographed the food? Nobody with an iPhone, that's fo sho.)

Incidentally, I spoke with my bro last night and asked about a new teacher named

      'Spoiler' SelectShow

I tried explaining how I knew you, and the whole house of cards tumbled down.

      1. Ahhhhhhh, that's my bro. Seriously, he's a good dude. One of my favorite people on the planet. I like that it's difficult to explain how you know someone from this basement. To prove it, my bro was skeptical when Dr. Chop and I went out for a beer with Novak, "how do you know this guy"?!?.

Seriously, my bro is a good dude.
