Since 1960, what franchise's players have won an amazing 10 MVP awards even though the team has not won more than one World Series?

so, if that picture is from between Feb. 2005 and Feb 2010, the answer is correct.
Unfortunately, Feb 11 is a Tuesday only in 2003 or 2014.
I just saw a commercial for Pompeii with Kiefer Sutherland and Kit Harrington. It looked awful, but I would watch a movie where Jack Bauer was part of the Night's Watch.
You know nothing, Jack Bauer.
"What are the White Walkers planning? TELL ME! There's no time!"
Am I the only one reading that in Geoff Pederson's voice doing his Liam Neeson impression?
I am now.
I've been so corrupted by that impression that I cant see Lian Neeson without thinking 'quickly! theres no time!'
When I saw the Arrow Awards a few months ago, I was flabbergasted that Kiefer and Kevin Bacon both were making numerous commercials in the UK. Kiefer had one about trying to open a bakery that was actually pretty funny and Kevin Bacon had one mocking many of his past roles that was excellent.
thank God the marriage equality act passed in NY already
I'm fine with that. That way people can't drool over them individually. They have to spread the love over both of them on the same day.
I got something in my eye.

Not where I thought that one was going, but I'm still glad I watched it.
Well, since the CoC title mentions Love, let's see if I can get this to work- edit: nope, that wasn't right. I'll try again in a reply.
boxscoregeeks.com has a Wins Produced graphic for every team and lots of other advanced stats stuff for the NBA. The Timberwolves are doing their best to break the model, unfortunately in the wrong direction.
Ugh, that wins produced chart has solidified... no, strengthened my distaste for JJ Barea as a part of this team.
And then I got to the Moral Victory table.....
The Wins Produced chart was what I was trying to link in. Barea is so bad, the logo looks like a smudge dot on my screen.
Heh, I actually had to scroll up to make sure I didn't just have some dirt on there.
Trying this again...
The backup point guard is in negative territory. I hope that the organization stops ignoring this position and starts drafting some point guards.
Also, the most unlucky team in the league: your Minnesota Timberwolves!!!!! Of course.
A team that continually lets Barrea play meaningful minutes in the fourth quarter can't complain about being unlucky.
unlucky and stupid aren't mutually exclusive.
Houston with a pretty good correlation between good players and playing time. Who's the genius coaching that club?
He's obviously under-utilized, what with being the best GM in sports.
This afternoon I have a telephone interview for a student affairs position at my current university. I think I'm a very attractive – and somewhat unconventional – candidate for the position. I've read up a bit on student development theory and I didn't come across anything that wasn't congruent with how I've handled informal advising encounters as a teacher. There's a lot that excites me about this position, so I'm hoping it goes well. Any spare good thoughts directed my way this afternoon would be appreciated.
knock 'em dead, CH.
Go get em, tiger.
Good fortune to you, citizen.
We shall sacrifice a dozen chickens and bathe in the blood towards your good fortune.
They have to be real chickens, not KFC. And maybe we'll get you some candlesticks. Those always make a nice gift.
Ok, let's get two. Go get 'em!
Boneless chix doesn't count, BTW.
Good luck and best wishes to you.
Best of luck! I worked in student affairs at two different institutions before law school, and the biggest thing I would communicate is letting the students make their mistakes while slowly holding them accountable.
"The Report concludes that three starters on the Dolphins offensive line, Richie Incognito, John Jerry and Mike Pouncey, engaged in a pattern of harassment directed at not only Jonathan Martin, but also another young Dolphins offensive lineman and an assistant trainer," Wells said in a press release. "The Report finds that the assistant trainer repeatedly was the object of racial slurs and other racially derogatory language; that the other offensive lineman was subjected to homophobic name-calling and improper physical touching; and that Martin was taunted on a persistent basis with sexually explicit remarks about his sister and his mother and at times ridiculed with racial insults and other offensive comments."
See, Incognito was unfairly singled out. It was the whole line that was doing it!
Also shared by the incredibly thicke headed department.
??
yup, i was thinking of the exact same joke. i would've gone with a different picture though.
Me too.
I don't acknowledge the existence of the Twerker's Assistant.
No, I would have gone with Alan. That's what I meant. I was debating whether to google a picture.
Yeah, I was thinking Alan too, but a picture with a more youthful, thick(e) head of hair.
I admit, that's a pretty great typo.
Not poor timing. He pretty obviously was trying to frame the story, knowing that he was gonna get slammed in the report. What a dick.
If he knew that he was going to get slammed, how did he think the "truth" was going to "bury" Martin? It looks even worse, especially considering that it extended to an assistant trainer. You might be right, but man, his framing leaves something to be desired.
While Martin participated in crude and offensive conduct, his personal style was not an asset in a battle of insults with Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey. Incognito conceded that he could tell that participating in demeaning banter “wasn’t [Martin’s] cup of tea” and that Martin sometimes responded to verbal onslaughts by saying nothing more than “fuck you.” By Incognito’s account, Martin responded in this manner, rather than with more creative retorts, because he had not grown up “talking shit” and was not as “witty” as Incognito, Jerry or Pouncey.
Seems about right. No one thinks the bully is as awesome as the bully thinks of himself.

Darren Woodson puts some blame on Jonathan Martin for not keeping it in the locker room. This isn't about Martin. He wasn't the only person bullied. These guys were way out of line and there is no place for this.
Probably for the better, since it sounds like Darren Woodson is an ass.
The head coach wasn't aware of the bullying... Yeah right.
Dismissed!
I think it's possible (not certain, but possible) that the head coach didn't know, but if so, there had to be assistant coaches who knew and made the decision that it was best not to tell him.

3. Profit!!
Yep.
I didn't see anyone link to it yet, so this Jon Bois article is very funny and I laughed a lot more on the bus yesterday than I ever really mean to. Read the URL if you need to know the topic.
That Gruden quote is gold. I mean gold.
I think it was the Browns' Owner's remarks that made me lose composure.
I didn't even get to his remarks before I lost composure. Seeing the name was enough.
Right, the name was terrific.
Their reasoning for converting the DE to long snapper was great, too.
I assume that once they get rid of the PAT, they start making really long Figgies worth more.
Yup, it was the name that did it for me.
The made-up draft picks' names were pretty awesome, too.
Wow, it was amazing when the cat reached out for the broom half way down.
The worst part is that there isn't 20 other cat curling clips.
The best part is that I followed that up with a clip of Canadian SportsCenter's top 10 shots from the first round of the 2010 Olympic qualifying trials.
I think it lies somewhere in the uncanny valley.

Finally got the curling banner. Impressive!
The NFL has issued its report on the Incognito/Martin matter.
See, Incognito was unfairly singled out. It was the whole line that was doing it!
From the poor timing department: Richie Incognito went on Twitter rampage on Wednesday about Martin.

I'm not suggesting that Incognito is "smart". 😉
He thinks he's pretty witty though.

Wow. Give your kids an extra hug today, Citizens.
WTF was I thinking reading the comments?
Just noticed I typed "too" when I meant "two" in an email message for work. I hope my colleague has the patients to forgive me.
Ugh, what have I wrought on this space?
Now, here's some world class snark. Author is from the NY Daily News.
Had a visitor in the back yard, and Mrs. Runner caught it on her cellphone from my office window:
Fox or Coyote?
I was thinking "duh, coyote", but I suppose the Runners are far enough south there might be gray foxes around there.
By the shape of the head, I'd still put my money on coyote, though.
