I should probably remember to post one of these, as it is Friday.

B. I really, really dig this album. The best elements of early Animal Collective merged with the scope and sound of the F--- Button's Tarot Sport. Here's the last quarter of it:

Your number 9 is unfortunate. Starting with 4, there was such a nice run of band/artist names including an uppercase P until that had to come along and mess it up.

Sold.
I found Beaches and Canyons to be more exciting when I came across it in random play than when I sat down with the intent of listening and focusing on it.
Every so often, my playlist and what I've actually been listening to start to diverge. So let this be a reminder to myself to update the ol'playlist. This one is kind of all over the place, but I guess that's what a random 10 is for, after all.

Back when this came out, I remember reading about the band boasting that the entire video was shot for around 30 dollars. Watching it today, that number seems high. (Great tune, though.)

I remember liking that tune from Buraka Som Sistema, but I can't think of what it sounds like now.
If you had asked me to name artists on my iPod, I would have never ever come up with Buraka Som Sistema.

Oh yeah. With the M.I.A. appearance.
I might have had it if someone gave me "DJ Zenovia" in that robo-voice.
