Twins: Eddie Rosario was 0-for-3 with a walk. Jason Adam pitched two innings, giving up an unearned run on three hits.
Salt River: Chris O'Dowd (Colorado) was 2-for-4 with a home run. Peter O'Brien (Arizona) was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring once and driving in one. Ken Roberts (Colorado) pitched two perfect innings.
Mesa: Eric Stamets (Angels) was 2-for-4 with a triple, scoring once and driving in one. Tony Renda (Washington) was 1-for-3 with a triple and a walk, driving in two. Derek Self (Washington) pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing two hits with one strikeout.
The game: Salt River scored three in the top of the third to cut a 4-0 deficit to 4-3, but Mesa came back with three of their own in the bottom of the third to go up 7-3 and put the game out of reach.
PEORIA 4, SCOTTSDALE 3 IN PEORIA (11 INNINGS)
Scottsdale: Dante Bichette, Jr. (Yankees) was 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI. Aaron Judge (Yankees) was 1-for-4 with a double and a walk, driving in one. Tyler Glasnow (Pittsburgh) struck out three in three shutout innings, giving up four hits and a walk.
Peoria: Kes Carter (Tampa Bay) was 2-for-4 with a home run and a double, socring twice and driving in two. Jordan Smith (Cleveland) was 1-for-5 with a double, scoring once and driving in one. Brandon Cunniff (Atlanta) struck out two in two shutout innings, allowing a hit and a walk.
The game: Carter homered with two out in the ninth to tie the game at three. In the eleventh, Edward Salcedo (Atlanta) and Smith hit back-to-back doubles with one out to produce the winning run.
GLENDALE 9, SURPRISE 4 IN GLENDALE
Surprise: Jesse Winker (Cincinnati) was 3-for-4 with a walk, scoring once and driving in one. Patrick Kivlehan (Seattle) was 1-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring twice and driving in one. Ben Klimesh (Cincinnati) pitched a perfect inning.
Glendale: Scott Schebler (Dodgers) was 3-for-3 with a double, scoring twice and driving in two. Steven Moya (Detroit) was 2-for-4 with a home run, scoring three times. Zach Davies (Baltimore) struck out seven in four shutout innings, allowing two hits and two walks.
The game: Glendale led 6-0 after five innings. Surprise got two in the sixth and two in the seventh to cut it to 6-4, but a two-run double by Garabez Rosa (Baltimore) capped a three-run bottom of the seventh to put the game out of reach for Glendale.
