Batting star: Reynaldo Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with a home run.
Pitching star: Jason Wheeler pitched 7.1 innings, giving up three runs on six hits and no walks with three strikeouts.
Opposition stars: Ryan LaMarre was 1-for-3 with a home run, his second. Yorman Rodriguez was 1-for-3 with a home run, his third. Jon Moscot pitched eight innings, allowing one run on three hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.
The game: It was 1-1 after four, but LaMarre and Rodriguez opened the fifth with back-to-back homers. The Red Wings did not get a hit after the Rodriguez homer in the fourth inning and had only three hits in the game.
Of note: Eric Farris was 0-for-3 with a walk. Josmil Pinto was 0-for-3. Danny Ortiz was 0-for-3.

Batting stars: Adam Brett Walker II was 2-for-5 with a home run (his eighth) and a double, scoring twice and driving in four. Jorge Polanco was 4-for-5 with a triple, scoring once and driving in three. Max Kepler was 3-for-5 with two doubles, scoring twice and driving in one.
Pitching stars: D. J. Baxendale struck out five in five innings, giving up two runs on six hits and two walks. Nick Burdi struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk.
Opposition stars: Jabari Blash was 2-for-4 with a home run (his second) and a double. Tyler Smith was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring once. Dario Pizzano was 2-for-5 with a double and and two RBIs.
The game: Walker II hit a two-run homer in the third to put the Lookouts in front 5-1. It was 8-2 after five, then the Lookouts scored seven in the sixth. They had four doubles, three singles, and two walks in the inning.
Of note: Byron Buxton was 2-for-4 with a walk, scoring three times and driving in two. Miguel Sano was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs.
