I was 400 miles into my trip last night when I encountered a traffic standstill about ten miles before the 494/694 split. I sat still for 45 minutes until the accident in front of us was cleared. Made the long trip (as opposed to the shorter one I sometimes make) in a brisk 7:25.

That looks awesome. Have fun!
AMR, that was lucky. I was on an earlier bus that was running late, which turned out to be perfect. And the timing of the streetlights worked out just right so that I could easily make a slight deviation from my route to cross paths with you. Not to mention (oh wait, I'm mentioning it) the fact that we were fortunate it wasn't raining as I don't think I could have managed that in a downpour--at least not without risking water damage.
FW is going to her sister's straight from work to help out with the niece and nephew. She won't be back until Monday evening. I'm looking forward to about a day of the apartment to myself before I start missing her.
Greg Holland to have TJ surgery. That's a huge blow for their chances in playoffs with their bullpen not as deep as last year.
